I bought this a couple of years ago. I mounted it on top of my propane bottle cover on my travel trailer. I use it to maintain my trailer battery when it is in storage. It does a great job. In this application you must disconnect the solar cell from the battery if there is another source charging the battery. When you tow your travel trailer, the tow vehicle provides charging voltage to the trailer battery. You need to disconnect the solar cell from the battery. Also, when you are at a campsite and hooked up to 110 volts, you must disconnect the solar cell.A few weeks ago, I found my battery dead and no light on the solar cell. So, I ordered a new solar cell identical to the one I had. In the process of taking the old one off, I discovered some connection issues. I cleaned all of the battery connections and the old one works fine, and I have spare one still in the box. Yes, I decide to keep It.

I use the solar powered charger to maintain my zero-turn mower battery in the off season. The mower is stored in a utility building and I'm able to hang the solar panel outside where it gets plenty of sunshine and it maintains the 12v battery. No issues so far. Mission accomplished. I have also used this solar charger plugged into the 12-volt accessory plug in my car while I disconnect and replace the battery to keep the car memory intact and eliminate having to re-program the car. Make sure the sun is shining when doing this and you will be okay.

As long as you have it in the sun, does what it says. However, I would have thought after being in the sun for 2 weeks it would have charged my marine battery, but nope. Oh well, maybe battery too far gone. Going to try different charger that I have for my garage and take to lake to verify.

Bought this for a trip I was going to be on where i would have to leave my vehicle in an outdoors parking lot for about 3 weeks. It worked better than expected! It was easy to connect to my vehicle and with the included suction cups, it stuck to my windshield and held on with no problems. When i returned from my trip, my vehicles' battery was kept fully charged and started right up. I would highly recommend this to anyone who might be going on an extended trip and worries about their battery running low or for anyone who just wants to keep the juice running.

I found the maintainer kept the battery on my seldom used vintage car charged as hoped and expected. The charger worked well for about 2 years, then stopped. I contacted the company and was happy that they offered to replace the failed unit, even though the 12 month warranty period had expired. I was very happy about the replacement and commend the support from the seller. I highly recommend the product and their standing by their product.

I bought these to put on my motor home batteries while in storage. I live in Florida , so we have sunshine almost everyday. Where the batteries are I cannot put suction cups on a window. I attached them to the side of the motor home. It is a smooth flat surface. They fell off in just a couple days. The suction cups are tiny and I don't know how they would stay anywhere for any length of time. Unless I can figure out a way to attach them to something to stay in the sun, they probably won't be much use to me.

Nice little unit and does the trick. I bought this to help keep the batteries charged in my diesel truck and 5th wheel RV. Suction cups work well and in the truck I just plug this in to the cigarette lighter port and if the truck sits for a few weeks the battery stays ready to fire. For the RV this has standard plugs hat are used on most solar panels and 12v electrical connectors so I am able to easily remove the cigarette lighter port plug and attach directly to the solar power plug on the side of my solar ready rv. It works great in the same way. I have two agm batteries and this keeps them topped up between two rv trips or if I need to pop in to the rv to pack or do some other work then I can turn the lights on or the radio and not drain the batteries or if I drain them a bit this will help to top them back up without having to plug the rv in shore power/household electric.
