Nostalgic awesome decks

The box and artwork are nice A little disappointed the god cards aren't real, also the feel of the cards and quality they don't feel like real cards compared to other cards I own it feels like knock offs.

==The Nostalgia Trip== I had gotten into the Yugioh trading card game after watching the show when it first aired and when I received the promotional VHS from "Pegasus himself." My first YGO cards were both of the original 1st Edition Yugi and Kaiba starter decks I had bought at a local game shop. But those decks were missing some of the famous cards that Yugi and Kaiba had used in the show (Mirror Force, Kuriboh, Magical Hats, Exodia, etc). And now, 20 years later, at long last... I finally have in my possession not only the infamous pieces of Exodia, the Forbidden One, but also the three Egyptian God cards from the Battle City Arc. I finally have some of the cards I had always wanted as a kid. ==Delivery== Shipping and delivery was fast. Placed an order for this set Feb 6 and it arrived Feb 11. ==Overall Condition== Box came in its original Konami shrink wrap and undamaged. There were 4 packs of cards in shrink wrap--three 41 card decks, and one individual pack containing the 3 secret rare cards, the god cards, and the duelist kingdom cards plus token (all ultra rare). The cards themselves are indeed in mint condition. However, in my case, only one of the cards had very minor imperfections. Gaia, the Dragon Champion, unfortunately has some very slight lines on its back face. It's barely noticeable though and I don't really care since it's a common anyway. All of the secret and ultra rares have a slight curve to them, as expected due to the holofoil print on the cards (you can correct this by carefully leaving the cards under something flat and heavy for a while). Also, I saw some reviews claiming the cards are fake. I can confirm that the set I received is not fake and really are genuine cards, as advertised. I even compared these cards to my older original cards from 20 years ago and they seem legit. I checked this set with a decklist online. Every card in the set I received are there. There were no missing cards unlike some reviews I've read. ==Card Editions== I believe the original printing of this set was in 2016. For the set I received, each card says 2020 on them, which suggests these are newer reprints. Therefore, these are NOT the original 2016 1st edition printings of the cards and are the UNLIMITED versions (which I am okay with). The secret rares and god cards say 'LIMITED EDITION' on them. The god cards contained in this set are the promotional/collector versions and cannot be used in a duel. ==Some comments on bad reviews I've read on here== As I previously mentioned, the set I received seem to have truly genuine cards and no cards were missing or misplaced. I find it pretty scary and sad that some people actually received a faulty product--and in some cases--NO cards at all in the box. I understood the risks, but I decided to purchase it anyway. It's very unfortunate that some people's experience with this was effectively ruined as a result. This truly was a great nostalgia trip opening up this box of cards and I would hate to see anyone be robbed of that experience. ==Overall Verdict== This is an absolutely amazing set and a true treasure for any oldschool YGO player who never had any easy access or opportunities to obtain the more famous and legendary cards. I guarantee you it will be quite the nostalgia trip when you receive this box and hold all five pieces of Exodia in your hands. I legitimately got goosebumps upon seeing the head of Exodia staring back at me within its shrink wrap when I opened the box for the first time. For $60, this is a great set of cards and each deck averages out to around $20 per deck, which is very reasonable. The nostalgia value of this set is off the charts and is a must have for any YGO fan of old times who never got their hands on the original printings of the cards from the first 5 seasons of the show. ==Final Statement to the Seller== Thank you for providing such an amazing nostalgia trip. It was a truly great experience opening up these cards and seeing all the famous cards Yugi owned in the show. I sincerely hope that you take great care with packaging these cards. It's very unfortunate that other people had received faulty/bogus sets. It would be terribly disappointing to go through that and have future customer experiences ruined as a result.
