This was so easy to install and bigger than expected. I filled mine with just over a half gallon of water. I will propagate some plant clippings in there as well to help hide the hardware. Gaspar the fish approves!

I’ve wanted one of these for a long time and finally got one! I went with the gallon bowl, which was still a bit smaller than I expected, but it’s exactly what the measurements state. The plastic is a good quality - it feels thick and sturdy and very well-constructed. For hanging. I decided to try the plastic piece instead of dealing with drilling a hole in the wall for the other method. I like that they include both options. The plastic piece is super simple to install and is insanely sturdy. I can’t believe how sturdy it feels. After putting the gravel, tiki man, moss balls and plants in there, it seemed a bit crowded. I let it sit for a week before putting a fish in there and ended up removing the moss balls and trimming the plant way back to provide more room. I currently have a betta in there and he seems very content and healthy. I wouldn’t put really any other kind of fish in there because it isn’t a lot of room, especially not a goldfish since they’re quite messy, they grown quickly and need much more room than this. I added an air stone as well to gently aerate the water and the betta seems to like it. I’m very pleased with this fish bowl. It’s easy to maintain. I siphon out about half the water weekly using an air hose so I can clean out the gravel, but it doesn’t require much maintenance outside of that. It’s a fun and unique addition for our dining room and we enjoy looking at it daily. I might have to get a second one!

This is the most perfect item I’ve ever bought!! We don’t have much room to get a fish tank, so this is the perfect item to get, it’s on the wall, can arrange with your picture frame collage (which is what I did), kids room, bathroom, a gift (if you wanna go full out and get the whole betta setup. its definitely catches your eye...I ended up using the screw it came with. Make sure you have a stud or the insert for drywall, it’s got some weight on it (I don’t recommend using the other part they provide as it doesn’t look sturdy enough to support the water weight. You can print or buy a picture for the back (you’d have to stick it yourself) or leave it AS IS. It’s not too big and not too small. Actually really thinking of getting another one to add to my hallway picture collage! Lol Great for pretty betta fish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
