Bolle Copperhead Sunglasses

When my favorite Bolle model Canebrake was discontinued, I needed to find a relatively small-frame, wraparound style with brown polarized lenses. My husband bought me a pair of Pythons, labeled as medium fit by Bolle, but they look huge on my face. These Copperhead sunglasses look much better, and they still give my eyes great coverage. Bolle lists Copperhead as one of the few small frames in a curved/wraparound style.I like the polarized A-14 lenses because I use these sunglasses for tennis. Even though the Bolle's blue lenses are labeled for tennis, they do not take enough of the glare away for me, and the TNS (gray) color makes it somewhat difficult to see the ball. A-14 lenses are also recommended for golf.I always find Bolle sunglasses comfortable -- this is probably my sixth or seventh pair of Bolle glasses. The frames have rubberized pads on either side of the bridge and at the ends both for comfort and to keep them from slipping. The wraparound style minimizes glare coming in from the sides. Because I have extremely light-sensitive eyes, these make being outside much more of a pleasure than without.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

I have a small face and it's always very difficult to find eyewear that fits well. My optometrist had to special-order my last pair of glasses! I bought these based on the other reviews, and am very happy with them. They are very comfortable. I've had some that were so tight they gave me a headache after a while, but these don't do that. They are so lightweight they don't hurt the bridge of your nose, either. They wrap around enough that your peripheral vision is covered. And I love the polarization! I am very light sensitive, and it's nice to have sunglasses that I can wear when it's raining, too.

These glasses are NOT specifically for women. They do tend to run smaller than other bolle's, but thats because they are geared towards sports wear. The nose and temple pads are designed to have MORE grip when they get wet, again, specifically for sports wear. While these pads are good for grip, they also tend to deteriorate over time, especially on the nose bridge. Bolle offers replacement pads, but only through calling support and they are not covered by the warranty. The repair also requires using a blade to remove old pads and glue, and reinstall new pads with super glue. I think the nose pads cost about $4 and shipping about $1.50.

I've had these sunglasses for over a month now & I am so impressed by the quality. For years I could only wear a specific style of Oakley b/c out of the countless sunglasses I continually try, I can't find any that fit my small face & head, expensive or cheap. I took a chance based on the reviews & I am still stunned at what I paid for these quality sunglasses. They're sturdy, dark enough & came with a sturdy case. They seem as sturdy as my previous Oakleys, but are actually more comfortable on my nose & ears than my last Oakleys. Absolutely LOVE these!!!

Very sad to see they are no longer made in France, but in China. I can't speak about their longevity yet, but my previous ones lasted for years. Not sure about these, but I am skeptical since they are made in China now.03/22/2017 - Update to my previous review. The coating on the inside of my lenses are coming off and now hard to see through the lens. My original sunglasses lasted for years, these are now basically useless. Will not last long, so reconsider before buying.

I was given a pair of Bolle sunglasses as a gift about 10 years ago. Unfortunately I lost them on a trip and was absolutely devastated. After reading the reviews on the Copperheads I decided to replace my old pair with these.So far I have been very happy with my purchase. I knew I wanted polarized sunglasses, and these really block out the unwanted rays of the sun. I was a little worried about the reviews stating that the sunglasses were too tight, and when I first received my pair, they did seem a little tight on the side of my head. But after wearing them a few times they are now snug but not to the point where they are bothersome. I would not recommend these for someone with a larger head though since I believe they would be too tight.I don't have to worry about them slipping down my nose because the nose grips are rubberized, almost to the point of being sticky. This is the only reason I am giving them 4 stars, because the stickiness of the nose grips can be almost bothersome at times. I'm hoping with more wear that this will become less noticeable, and I certainly wouldn't let that small issue keep you from buying this model.If you are looking for an inexpensive, but well made pair of sun glasses then I would highly recommend the Bolle Copperheads.

I love these. I have to have very well made polarized sunglasses or I get headaches, and I have to, for whatever reason, I am able to only where the amber color. I used to pay 200$ for sunglasses and I could not afford that. It put a hit on our family that was too much, so I stayed indoors alot more often, drove my car less. Now I have more time outdoors, driving and being around water at a price that does not cause my family to sacrifice the basics. I love them, So grateful for Amazon on occassions like this!!!

I am guilty of purchasing low cost glasses and then just continuing to replace them. I found these, took a chance and I really like them! They fit my head well, do a really great job of blocking out the harmful rays and look good(liked this style best)! They come in a soft padded case with a microfiber cleaning cloth so I keep them in the car ready for all driving. The frame is made of a sturdy plastic and I don't expect these to have to be replaced for a long time. However the lenses are treated, they indicate a resistance to scratching (of course anyone can find a way to not be careful!) so I am totally content with my purchase.

Love these, understated, comfortable and cool. Great colour, barely know i'm wearing them, ca be smart or casual. A bargain too, tho i would've paid full price for them.

These are lovely glasses. Great fit and lenses.

Package arrived in two days (regular delivery) - which was the day before it was due . The glasses are great-- lenses seem to be of very high quality -- nicer than others I've seen in sunglass stores, often at much higher prices. A little tight (a common problem for me) but a helpful clerk heated them and adjusted them for me so now they're great. (I donated to the store's international eyeglass charity as a thank you)

Received my Bolles today..they are perfect. I have a sonewhat small head and they fit perfectly! And were delivered right on time!

The frame quality is great. The lens clarity and polarization is perfect. I have a narrower face and these fit me very comfortably, even for riding my motorcycle. I recommend these glasses.
