We bought this for a kindergarten class painting party and they perfectly fit the bill. They're made of durable plastic and cleaned up fine (we were using acrylic paint and didn't let them sit too long after the painting party was finished). Yes, they are made of plastic, but we do intend to use again and again, so definitely not a single use product. The wells that hold the paint are not very deep, but there are 10 wells so any project that needs a lot of any particular color we just double up (i.e. blue in 2 wells). Finally, since it was a large group of 5 and 6 year olds it was great that these were low profile and stable (not one got flipped over...a miracle!).

I ordered these paint palettes to use as plates in a "decorate your own cupcake" activity during my daughter's 8th birthday party. They arrived quickly and were packaged securely. They washed up in a couple of minutes and made the perfect plates to hold a naked cupcake and various sprinkles, nonpareils, and other decorative sugars. We will be storing these away (nice that they stack compactly) and bringing them back out next year for her art-themed 9th birthday party.

I am by no means an artist, but I occasionally work with acrylic paints for different crafts. Instead of using tinfoil as a 'palette' I think these work much better. For the price these are pretty nice; they're not super sturdy but they are far from flimsy. They'll work just fine.

I have set up multiple color scheme palettes from my tube watercolor paints, allow them to dry thoroughly and tape a little color swatch strip to hang off the sides, stack one inside the other, and store the stack in cookie tin. So handy to just pull out the “beach” colors for an ocean scene, or the “Victorian” color palette to paint a card with a pretty antique motif. This budget set is perfect for my needs. Very happy 👍🏻
