Cotton Embroidered Short Christening Baptism Romper Set

I just received this and thought it was perfect when I opened it. It's simple, fresh and thin - perfect for our warm weather. However, upon trying it on my son I noticed 2 things:1. It runs a bit small - my son is 7 months old (22 lbs) he is a big baby - I ordered the 12-18 month size and it fit just perfect. Not sure that it will fit in a month, when I need it for his baptism.2. The romper is almost too thin. The only thing that really bothers me about this is that it's so thin you can see a printed diaper through it. Not cute.I'm going to send this back and I'm sad that I can't use this outfit, because it is adorable and really is the look I was going for. I was planning to monogram the front of it before his baptism.

My baby was baptized at 2.5 months and he was 11 lbs and 22 inches long. I went with the month suggestion rather than pound suggestion as 6-8 lbs is TOTALLY inaccurate. Even with that, the outfit was still quite large on him. I imagine it would still fit if he was 26 inches and 15 lbs.The great thing is, if you pick the wrong size, you can send it back with free shipping.I did not use the hat, but the outfit is great quality, lightweight enough for the summer heat and comfortable material for the baby.

Over all I’m happy with this romper set. Fits well, I went with my sons weight rather age. He’s 8 1/2 months at 19-20 pounds and the 12-18 month worked out great. Only part I’m disappointed with and why I give it 3 stars; the shirt is 65% polyester and 35% cotton. My son is allergic to polyester so we can’t use the shirt but the overalls and hat are 100% cotton.

My son (who is big) was 7 months old when he wore this for his baptism, and I bought him the size L. It fit perfectly, but like I said, he's a big baby. I would think an average size baby would still need to size up a bit, though. Having said that, the material is light but not see-through, comfortable, and cute on the baby without looking cheesy. We didn't end up using the hat, although it was kind of cute on him. It just has elastic at the back, which I didn't love. I tried 3 other baptism outfits before ending up using this one because it's all cotton, looks really nice, and the baby seemed most comfortable in this one.

This looked really cute on my son. I would buy one size up, if you have a tall child, mine just barely made it for his length. 1 of the buttons fell apart but I was able to glue it and be very ginger with it. He was very dashing in this outfit and the hat was super cute!

I purchased for my son who was Christened in April. The size seemed a little off and ran small. I purchased a large which said 12-18 months, but there is no way. I would say its more of a 9-12 month size. The hat did no fit at all and was not as formed as it looks in the picture. The outfit was cute and worked perfect for what I was looking for and didn't need the hat.I would say order a size bigger if your child seems to run closer to the bigger size.

This outfit was perfect! I am not a fan of over-the-top baptism outfits and lots of satin. This romper was sweet, simple and ideal for our warm summer weather. The cotton fabric has enough of a pattern to make it interesting without being tacky. It looked adorable on our son, and most importantly, he was comfortable. The sizing appeared to be accurate, and surprisingly, the litle page boy hat that comes with the romper stays on quite easily. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend it to any Mom (or Dad!) looking for a nice baptismal outfit who doesn't want to go the tuxedo route.

While I love the style of this blessing outfit the sizing is all wrong. The sizing says 13 -17 lbs fur size 6-12 months but my 15 lbs 2 month old needed the 3-6 month size. I even called the seller for help with sizing and they said get the bigger 6-12 month size. It arrived and was way too big, returned it (love Amazon prime!) And ordered the smaller size. Good thing t the shipping was so fast or it wouldn't have made in time for the big day. Love the product but the info is not correct.
