I have to be careful what I put in my ponds because my cats drink out of them. This product fits the bill. It clears the water and is safe if your animals drink it.

Cleared up my pond within minutes of using the solution

It works almost as soonas it's poured in the water. I had algae build up on the sides of my water feature. Within the hour the algae started to go away.

I have been ordering this product for several years now. Since I've been using it in our pond is noticeably clearer and cleaner. I will continue to order this product as needed.

Applied as instructed to two water features that have green algae. I had already cleaned the water features. Helped a little. Increased both dosage and frequency of application. Worked a little better. Finally alternated between barley extract and Algaefix. Worked a little better. So now I just alternate the two more frequently than instructed.This is the only brand of barley extract that I've tried, so I can't say if another brand would work better.
