Q: Worked very well for two weeks...but, anyone experience these stretching & slipping off heel?

Yes I had a similar experience while shoveling snow. I attributed it to the heavy it er snow in the walk. Have not had an opportunity to wear them again.

Q: How long are the spikes?

Barely measurable. They’re not sharp like golf cleats, they’re more like “U shaped” with the bottom of the U Protruding. Maybe 20-30 of them. Used them hiking in the White Mtns. Last month on my Timberlands and on my Bean Boots. Easy on, easy off. Made a big difference.

I recommend you check the length and width of your boots against boots in larger sizes at the store. If they are a men’s size 8, I think that going with something that fits size 11 might work. If the size range has 11 at the upper limit, maybe pick the next size up. If you just don’t know, I’ve ordered different sizes before and returned or donated what didn’t fit me. You may want to try that if it’s an option for you. People, if you don’t know the answer, why do you bother responding? If you don’t know what Mickey Mouse boots are, you should’ve joined the military in the 80s or 90s, then you’d know.

Mine stayed on fine. In fact I had to stretch them around the shoe a bit. Sounds like you may need to size down.
