Worked great to move a mattress, but limited lenght adjustment
I purchased this to move a foam queen sized mattress out of an apartment and down a flight of stairs, for which it worked well. I got this over Shoulder Dolly 2-Person Lifting and Moving System - Easily Move, Lift, Carry, And Secure Furniture, Appliances, Heavy Objects Without Back Pain! Straps and Harnesses for 2 Movers - Great Tool To Add To Moving Supplies! because this seemed more stable than the Shoulder Dolly. The Should Dolly only has one strap on the bottom which made me concerned that the mattress would just slide off sideways. We had about 6 inches and 100 lbs difference between the two of us, but this did not pose a problem. The person on the bottom had to shorten the belt, by switching to a lower hole. But no major issues. For moving smaller and short objects there might be a problem do to limited belt length adjustments. Not for professional movers. The FFMCVP hooks on the shoulder harness attaches to one of three positions on the belts, which look to be the same type as the Forearm Forklift. Your ability to adjust the length of this belt is limited though since there are only three positions. In order to lift an object you have to push against it with your arms, so if you can't reach the object with your arms you can not lift it. We did find a way to half the length of these straps by looping them and then threading the end back through the original hole and on to the hooks. It did work. But I discovered that the object we were trying to lift (a 32 inch CRT) was too high up (sitting on a dresser) for us to crunch up to lift it. When we got the CRT on the floor and on a pallet we still could not lift it. While we had enough of a base to work with, the TV was not tall enough for our arms to reach it while using the the shortest positions on the belt. We could have halved the belt length again, but this would have meant we could not adjust the length when it came down to take it down the stairs - the person on the bottom would make their belt shorter to keep the object more upright, and hence forth keep less weight that would be pushing against them. Given this limitation if you need to lift objects of varying sizes, you'd better off with Shoulder Dolly 2-Person Lifting and Moving System - Easily Move, Lift, Carry, And Secure Furniture, Appliances, Heavy Objects Without Back Pain! Straps and Harnesses for 2 Movers - Great Tool To Add To Moving Supplies! even though it's potentially less stable.

Enables two people to move large furniture and appliances.
My partner and I have had to move around a lot of our appliances recently. From the house to garage, back into the house. All over the place. We had been using a dolly which was very effective but moving a fridge with a dolly and only two people is a bit of a challenge. I bought these straps mainly to move our stove. They worked like a charm! We brought the stove in from the garage, up our front steps with only minor difficulties. I will say that we used a piece of plywood to build ourselves a ramp up the stairs which helped quite a bit. My only gripe with these is that they're not more adjustable. I'm quite short and I wish there were more options to basically make the straps shorter so that you can lift the object a little higher off the ground. All in all I'm happy. These are great for your average person who's going to user these 4-5x a year. If your job is to move big heavy stuff, these are probably not sturdy enough for you(construction wise, the webbing itself is fine). I'll put these in a box and use them whenever we're moving something heavy. Completely worth the cash.

Moving shoulder straps
Used to move a 400lb item. Helped tremendously. Height of users is important when using these. The closer in height, the better.

Appear strong, however they were too long and not adjustable
The fabric looked nice. It seemed like in theory it would work great but the straps were too long. Which was weird because I’m looking at the lady in the picture and she’s no taller than me so I don’t understand why the straps were too long. I was really quite surprised. These would work for big tall people. i’m 5’7 and I still wasn’t tall enough to use it as the straps were too long and not adjustable.

I wish I had gotten these sooner!
This is a great tool for moving heavy objects. I have moved many times over the years, and helped friends and family many times. Most recently I loaded a PODS container for a cross country move, and did NOT have this product. Several large and/or heavy objects were difficult to move without these straps, and I narrowly avoided injuring myself trying to move a heavy dresser. However, before unloading the container at my destination I ordered Forearm Forklift, with the shoulder harnesses. It made moving those large and/or heavy items much faster, easier, and most importantly safer. Since then I have used them a couple more times helping other move. Also, my wife (very small) and I, have moved some furniture around the house using these straps, and due to her small size she wouldn't have been able to help without the straps. With them, it was very easy/safe. They are absolutely worth the money, and if I ever move again, I may buy a second set, so four people can move items with the straps, to make things go twice as fast/easy/safe. I will say, I was skeptical at first, but as soon as used them on the first piece of heavy furniture, I was glad I tried them. The increased ease, and safety, made them worth every penny.

Of all the two-person slings out there, this one's the Cadillac.
There are many of these slings to choose from offered by a host of manufacturers, but this one is stout enough for whatever task you have in mind, allowing for many uses in just one product. It will work for mattresses of all sizes, appliances from washers to fridges, furniture from big and tall to short and squat and much more. When moving, the common wisdom is to not use big boxes because we tend to overload them. Well, this baby changes the equation, because if the box is strong enough, you can load them easily no matter the weight (800 lbs max is recommended). I'm sure this sling would even allow two people to carry someone in a gurney or stretcher up or down a flight of stairs. I'm very happy I sprung for this one.

Muy funcional para tramos rectos, subir una rampa, un poco incomodo para escaleras pero dependiendo el tipo de mueble, sobre todo se complican los largos en las escaleras, los cortos como lavadoras, estufas funciona muy bien en todos los lugares

Easy to use and very useful if you are moving any furniture. I like the fact that you could use the harness if you want to or you could simply use the forklift straps on their own

I saw a couple of movers using something similar to these the last time I moved and it looked so easy to carry stuff around that I decided to try them myself the next time. So, I just moved again about two weeks ago and these were definitely useful. It makes carrying heavy and bulky objects easier, specially for things that don't have handles or safe spots to hold. It takes a bit of practice and in some cases it was better to use them just to bring the objects near we wanted them and then switch to "manual" carrying. It's great that it comes with the harness although we didn't really use them this occasion. I took one star off because for smaller, narrower or lower objects there's not enough adjustment "holes" so, we had to wrap the belts around our hands to carry the weight with our arms only.
