Swanson L. Reuteri Probiotic Plus w/L. Rhamnosus L. Acidophilus & FOS Prebiotic Digestive Support - Promotes Gut Health w/ 7 Billion CFU per Capsule - (30 Veggie Capsules)

Have tried other brands of L. Reuteri but this one has been the best for me. Preface - back in 2000 i got mono (presumed) and got hit with back to back strep throat infections (6 total in a 6 month span), each one worse then the last. Losts of anitbiotics. To this day Im still very susceptible to bacterial throat infections and get them roughly once a month (not exaggerating and no, having tonsils removed would not stop it from happening) I say all this because that was the beginning of my horrible anxiety and misophonia (yup a few noises drove me to irrational rage/anger), loss of interest in a lot of stuff (but not quite depression just no real motavation). I stumbled upon L. Reuteri and its benefits (probabaly from the same source many reading these reviews found) I listened and researched up on it. And just was like omg that explains so many of my "symptoms perfectly" This was an inexpensive and low stakes possible solution (remedy) and i went for it. The results for me were short of amazing. 1. My anxiety drastically lowered, I didnt wake up feeling like the world was gonna end so why bother, leaving the house became easier. I still have anxiety (caused by other things) but overall its so much more mangable and I don't freak out when theres something hard to do now, I just feel calmer overall. 2. Misophonia lessened, noises didn't make me want to punch the wall or hulk out. My bf snores and i can actually fall asleep next to him while he's snoring (unless its the loud loud one but not because it makes me angry just because its loud) cause again it doesnt bother me at all anymore. I can actually tune it out better in a way. 3. My muscles are actually getting toned up now. For years I spent countless time doing squats and other exercises (I still do them by the way) and nothing... my butt just stayed flat. No exercise ever worked to tone up any of my muscles. Walking up hill for months didnt do anything, riding a bike for miles every day for years didnt do anything. It was like I was stuck. Then I took this and boom - within a week (yup a week) I noticed my butt was perkier you could actually see where my butt ended and my thigh began, I actually had a more lifted rounded behind... only thing I changed was this supplement. My stomach bloating went away also, so my stomach was flatter and when I worked out I could actually feel muscle soreness in places I never could before. (Im giving a breakdown so hopefully this all makes sense. 4. I found things funny again. Not that I didnt laugh before all this. Its that I found more stuff funny. Watching tv, I'd laugh at even the stupid jokes. I ultimately just felt happier (again i wasnt depressed, I'd get sad occassionally, but depression, no, infact anti-depressants would always make me worse hate them) 5. New hair growth, and less hair fall. I take birth control which causes a lot of hair loss (they never tell you this by the way) I had lost nearly half my hair volume (I have a lot so it made me sad but didnt look like I was balding) anyway.... again within in a week I noticed way (and I mean way way) less hair falling out. My hair would be every where in the house (on tables, couches, floor etc) my bf noticed it also (I never told him about how i noticed but he quickly noticed my hair wasnt every where anymore. I’ve also noticed new growth especially around my hair line, when I put my hair in a pony tail baby hairs fall down out of the pony tail, again, I havent had baby hairs fall down like that in over 10 years, its been a long long while. And taking a shower I have very few hairs come out (maybe 5 ish hairs) where before I'd be nearly in tears because just washing my hair would have a handful of hair (about 50ish hairs) Those are the major things I've noticed. Im certain there is more but I cant think of them at the moment. I really like the packaging also. This company doesn’t put the 30 capsules in some big over sized bottle. Its a small bottle filled completely so they (in my opinion) do their best to avoid using too much plastic. The capsules have no taste are small and super easy to swallow. I just take them as is. I have not tried to make yougurt with them (maybe one day). Suggestion - take these (finish the bottle) every time you take antibiotics (directly after finishing the course prescribed) Start taking these if you've taken a lot of antibiotics in the past. Im so glad I found out about this. And I hope that they can do for you what they did for me. Im so much happier and healthier with these.

Active and strong,made the Dr Davis yogurt and it came out great and as expected. Wonderful stuff!!

Dr Berg mentioned on a video that I can no longer find cause I fall down a rabbit hole of new info, that this strain heals from antibiotic use. So I use it to make yogurt. I have no idea if my gut has healed but I do love it. Yogurt is what keeps my tummy happy.

Excellent packaging and great product

I used it on the assumption that it was working for me, but it was hard to tell.

I have gastro pareses. I get flare ups plus bloating and terrible gas pain. Plus on and off bouts of IBS with constipation. I eat best as I can. This has been my entire adult life. I watched Dr Berg on utube . When I heard the video on LRuteri I knew what he was saying was important. I ordered and I am so glad I did. It has changed my digestion. I am not having any gas. No bloating at all. It's only been a week but I also weigh myself every morning at the same time. I have dropped four pounds. I struggle with my weight even when intermittent fasting. I just do not loose. So I'm very impressed so far. I intend to keep taking these little miracle digestive system correctors! No heartburn. No gas. No bloating. I'm sold! Honestly can say try these.

Even though other reviewers that say they have had good results with the Swanson L.Reuteri Plus making cultured dairy, it was disappointing to learn that it is not the strain that is best for making it. I wish that would be clarified on the website. We are trying it anyway and if it does actually work, I will update this review with the results. I cannot report results for taking it for digestive health as that isn't why I purchased it.
