Nordic Ware Pro Cast Castle Bundt Pan

While this was a little tedious to clean, it was completely worth it. I didn't have any issues with the pan sticking. For a bundt cake, it is common practice to butter and flour the pan before baking. I did that and the cake came out beautifully. Buttering it proved to be difficult. So, I resorted to using a butter spray. I definitely recommend that route. The pan is a little heavy, but sturdy. I would buy this again.

I like the Magical Mystical Castle with its Big Tall Towers and the Great Entrance Door and I wanted to get it even more when I found out that it was Made in the USA. According to the Product Details, it says that the Bundt Pan Holds 10 Cups, I filled mine with water and it only holds 9 Cups. I followed the Use and Care Instructions and made it with the Coconut Pound Cake Recipe that comes on the back of the Cardboard Wrap, very easy to do, I even had all the Ingredients on Hand. I took my time, I wanted to get a good imprint of the Bundt Pan, with a little brush and very Soft Butter to brush and get inside of each and every Tiny Nook and Cranny of the Castle Pan, especially the Top of the Towers, and then I flour the Whole Thing, I Tap out any extra flour into the SinkThis is a Pound Cake Batter, I substituted the Coconut Milk for just whole Milk and instead of Coconut Extract I used Pure Vanilla Extract, it came out Beautifully. I filled the Pan a little over 3/4 Full to avoid Overflow, maybe to the Start of the Stone Entryway since it is a Thick Batter. I didn't think the Castle Cake was that small, just the right Size to put on Top of a Big Cake or a Sheet Cake and that is why I wanted it for. To get a better Idea of its Size, the Castle Cavity Measures 9 by 8 inches by 4-1/2 inches Deep. Nordic Ware Castle Bundt Pan is very well made of Heavy Cast Aluminum for Evenly-Baked Cakes, all the detail from the Castle Bundt Pan was Perfectly Transferred onto the Cake and in order to achieve this Effect I think you will have to use a Thick Batter,... Pound Cake BatterAccording to the Instructions, Dishwasher use is not recommended as it may shorten the Life of the Non-Stick Coating of your Pan. I wash it by hand because I also want the Pan to look its Best for a Long Time. Metal Utensils, Scouring Pads and Abrasive Cleaners should not be use in Non-Stick Surfaces. After I got the Cake out of the Pan, once it was Cool Completely on Top of a Wire Rack, I filled it with warm water and let it soaked for 30 minutes or so, that way is much easier to go with a Brush and Wash every little corner of the Bundt Castle Pan. I really liked how Nicely the Castle looked on Top of the Sheet Cake all DecoratedI use Chunks of Dark Chocolate and White Chocolate as Rocks to put around the Castle and with Green Frosting I Created many Plants and Shrubs on top of a Sandy Color Caramel Frosting. I only use Powdered Sugar on Top of the Castle Cake... many Decorating Possibilities next time. I made it for my little Nephew and he loved it,...so did I. This pan is amazing. Nice and heavy like most Nordicware products. this is my 3rd bundt from them. Made the cake on a day of 99 baking tragedies but the cake wasn't one.I took the advice of several reviewers and used a pastry brush to get butter into every single nook and cranny. This one nook filled cake pan. Then dusted it with cocoa powder. There's a King Arthur flour bundt recipe that filled the pan to the exact right level. cake unmolded like a dream. a dusting of powdered sugar, and Hooray! Winterfell!! popped a dragon cookie on there and added John Snow to the platter and we were GOT season finale ready.it was a little difficult to clean the tourette sections in the pan. but otherwise it was great.

I just got it. It's quite heavy. Good quality. I made a chocolate box mix cake as a test and it removes easily and smoothly using a can of spray oil with flour dusting. The flour dusting is visible on removal so next time I will try cinnamon and sugar instead. The top rose above the edges so I trimmed it off with a knife. The thing with this is that the shape is important so it's hard to decide how to frost. I guess a simple flavored drizzled icing is best. With a cake like this, you need a delicious basic recipe that can stand on it's own. But an exciting baking experience. De cakevorm was kleiner dan verwacht.Ik heb meerdere keren moeten bakken voordat ik een beslag had samengesteld dat zwaar genoeg was om uit de vorm te komen (veel banaan er in!). Moest ik wel ieder gaatje en hobbeltje royaal insmeren met boter. Wat een klus....!!!Uiteindelijk met een klas kleuters toch lekker van genoten. Was net genoeg.

Marka olarak zaten beğendiğim bir üründü. Fakat ürün paketleme sadece bir kutudan ibaret olduğu için kutu yırtılmış ürün darbe görmüş paketleme berbattı. Neden böyle bir basit paketleme yapıldığını anlayamadım! Yine de çok beklediğim bir ürün olduğu için iade etmekten vazgeçtim fakat diğer sipariş edeceğim ürünler için artık emin değilim.

Trés beau, facile d'utilisation moyennant d'utiliser une bombe à graisser.Pour la recette, il suffit de convertir les mesures anglosaxonnes en poids français et le tour est joué. Un glaçage et qq decors avec des crayons "sauces" du commerce et le resultat est beau et bon, presque dommage de le trancher.A conseiller vivement pour un résultat bluffant.

A great pan but you have to be careful how you prepare it for baking. So many little nooks and crannies that it may not come out of the pan cleanly. A buggar to clean.
