Perfect replacement. Imitations are possible, but this part is original fit.
This looks like original replacement part. Installed in a Sienna 2005. Original bushing in the car became stiff, brittle and broke apart after 20 years of service. I hope this bushing will last similar amount of time and possibly outlasts the car. This bushing is made of soft rubber, not hard plastic. It fits perfectly into the hole of the push-pull arm and then onto the knob of the gearshift. Apply silicone grease inside and outside to make it fit easier and last longer. It is possible to instead use a self-made bushing and a circlip, or even a circlip without a bushing will work fine. Especially temporarily, as it worked for me with just a circlip (shown in the last picture) while waiting for this part to arrive. One possible long-term alternative solution would be a bushing with just one flange (3D-printed from a good material) and a circlip, or a 3D printed bushing made of soft rubbery TPU. I measured the dimensions with a caliper for your convenience. "Use your 3D printer, Luke!". However it is best to install the proper part. Overall this bushing is a good value for money.

Perfect fit! 05 Toyota Corolla
My sisters 05 Toyota Camry would not shift out of gear, it got stuck in park. Turned out to be a minor issues, luckily it was not the transmission that was damaged it was this the shifter cable bushing locate underneath the center console. Quick, easy and cheap fix, took about 10min to remove center console and install this new bushing in place. Fit perfectly, highly recommended replacing this bushing if you have not already done so to avoid any issues with this part later on down the road.

Worked for 2004 Pontiac Vibe
Worked for 2004 Pontiac Vibe. The Vibe is essentially a Toyota Matrix and this part allowed the gear selector and shifter cable to attach to each other again. The old bushing had disintegrated and disappeared. This should work without issue for any 2003-2008 Toyota Matrix or Pontiac Vibe.

2004 Toyota Sienna LE…like OEM!!!
PERFECT FIT…Like OEM!!! There is no WRONG way to insert bushing into shift cable head. After pressing the EMERGENCY shift button to shift into NEUTRAL position. I proceeded to place shift cable head to original position when it “snaps” into place. Confirm that shifter operates properly and replace bolts and panels to original assembly location, no extra bolts (Ha!Ha!Ha!). Replaced after 21 years/273k miles…FIVE stars!!!

A good Toyota bushing for an auto-tranny.
Amazing that a little broken piece can stop this car. A C clip or cotter pin would’ve been a much better mechanical connection than this bushing. That being said, it was an easy install.
