Ever wanted to start a plant from something you were given for Mother's Day or such? The writing is clear and the photos are excellent. For more info on the subject I will seek this author.

This is a beautiful book with beautiful pictures and great descriptions. You can tell that a lot of care went into creating this book. The pitfall for me is the star rating system that the book uses to cover ventilation, cold, light, and growth. It's confusing and you have to keep referring to the table of contents section of the book to see what the stars mean. If it wasn't for that, I would love this book. Unfortunately, I am still on the fence about keeping this book even as I write this review.

I would like to return it. Nothing wrong with the book or the delivery! It’s just not what I was looking for. I was hoping it was a book on Santiverias, Snake Plants (Mother-in-law tongue). Thank you!

I am a succulent beginner. My husband bought this book for me for Christmas. It has some nice pictures. The info for each plant is very basic and I think I can find a lot more info from online. The star ratings for lighting are so confusing that I had to keep on going back to the beginning to confirm if I understood right. I have only succulents, but more than half of the book is about cacti. I decided to return it.

This book is stunning. The pictures are gorgeous, and while it's not overly informative it does offer unique insight into succulent care and decorative planting. It has pictures of unusual plants that I don't often see in N.E., so it was fun to get ideas and see the different succulent plant families in case I run into something new! I love just flipping through it in the evenings, it's very relaxing and interesting.

I truly appreciate this book as a reference to my succulent garden. I am new to succulents and have killed many. This book has helped me identify the different plants that I have been given or came in mix boxes.

I was little disappointed because it only covers 1-2 lines about each. It doesn’t cover care tips or placements which I was hoping for. Overall it’s not a a proper guide if you are looking for information about ur succulents. It will only help with identification of varieties.
