I didn't buy this for the humans in the house..
I actually bought this for our cats. One of our cats seems to be having allergy problems. Our vet said that he could indeed have household allergies or seasonal allergies. He didn't prescribe anything at this time, and said to just monitor it. We could tell he was stuffy, because we'd hear these little "horsey" blows out of his nose, which was him trying to unstuff his own nose. We have antihistamines for him for times when he needs it, but it seems more that he gets stuffy, especially now that it's the time of year where we run the heat indoors. (It makes me stuffy too - no matter how many times we replace the filter, it always seems to blow out dust. We rent, so can't really do much else besides the filter deal.) I tried the regular bottles of saline solution for his miniscule nose. However, anyone who has tried to put anything in a cat's nose knows that it isn't that easy, and often not all that effective. I'd do one nostril, but there is so much liquid in the regular bottles, no matter how you do it, that it really just got him wet more than helped his nose. So, I thought I'd try this one, with a gentle misting action. He didn't care for it the first couple of times, but now he does not even fight it. I think it doesn't deliver that "blast" of water like other bottles do, so it doesn't scare him. It is still saline water, so you don't want it in their eyes. You need to protect them. What I found works the best, is that I simply hold him from behind on a flat surface like my bed. (Pretend you were going to take their temperature.) Then I put my chin on his head. That not only holds his head in place, but kind of pushes the forehead fur down over the eyes, adding a little more protection. One little mist and it's all done! NOTE: If using this for cats, be sure to only do ONE NOSTRIL per session. You don't ever want to do both sides at the same time - their nasal passages are tiny, and you don't want to clog them up. It seems to help him quite a bit, doing the job of unstuffing nicely and without chemicals or medicines. If he's still sounding stuffy in an hour or two, it is almost always the other nostril, and I'll take care of the other one then. If you want to try it from the front, be sure to cover their eyes with a kleenex or washcloth so you don't get it in their eyeballs. Anyway, long chat to say that this works really nicely for our cats. I am sure it would work great for anyone who does not want a stream of water going up their nose. The mist is just what it says - a mist. No streams, no leaks, no dripping. You don't seem to get much in the bottle (it feels super light for the size of the bottle), but if it works for our kitties, I would definitely buy it again.

Helps baby breathe
I started using this to help loosen nasal blockage in my newborn so that the blue syringe could actually do its job. It worked beautifully. In fact, many times I would mist a little in his nose before a diaper change and by the time I was done with the diaper the mucus had loosened enough to come out on its own. All I had to do was wipe his nose. This product mists perfectly - mist it in the air if you don't believe me - it is gentle and even. And it contains NO PRESERVATIVES, which the adult ones usually do - the difference here is that none of the excess mist goes back into the bottle, the can is pressurized, so whatever is sprayed out, stays out, leaving you with a sterile product to keep on using...and one bottle lasts a LONG TIME. I've continued to use this saline spray when we go on trips. Flying has a tendency to dry out nasal passages as do some of the desert places in which we visit family. One quick mist in the morning seems to keep the little guy happy, otherwise he gets lots of nasal blockage or even nose bleeds from all of the dry air. I've got another baby on the way and wanted him to have his own bottle of saline mist so I recently ordered another one. However, my husband prefers this over the adult versions (the adult versions spray, which can be messy and can sting a little, this one literally mists and is perfectly balanced -no stinging) and so I think we all might end up with our own bottle around here.

Works great for my baby
No complications and works great for my baby. My baby is 12 weeks old now and this has helped her with loosening her nasal passages and easy to get all of the snot boogies out so she can breathe. I highly recommend

Just what we needed!
I have to say: I am impressed. I didn't think this worked so well... I used the drops and my baby just hated them because you can never see if it's coming out or not... but this! It's awesome. It literally flushes the little nose. Just make sure you keep your baby a bit tilted to the front and this way it's coming out not going down his nose. My baby still doesn't like it much because it's still something going into his nose but after we're done he's so happy and smiling because he can breath. I would never go back to the drops.

Mommys bliss is easier to use
It is a good product but I rather mommys bliss saline drops than this one, i don’t like the spray it’s hard to use with the baby.

Stuffy Nose Lifesaver
This saline mist is easy to use, baby friendly and most importantly loosens mucus. My baby was born in the winter, so nasal congestion was part of his daily life for the first few months due to the dry air. I could simply mist a bit of this in his nose, wait a minute to see if his stuffiness cleared, and if not, I used the "Baby Comfy Nose" nasal aspirator to gently suction out the loosened mucus. Thanks Simply Saline for keeping my little one's nose clear so that he could breastfeed!

Love this product
This is the BEST one I have ever used. Really loosened my 2-3 month olds nose when they were sick. I even use it for my toddler. Excellent. This will be my go to from now on. I will highly recommend w/o a doubt.
