The best rim tape you can find.

I was getting repeated flats with my high PSI road bike tires. I suspected it was time to replace the rim tape. This was my first time re-taping a rim. This tape was extremely easy to use and I love the durability of cloth tape versus other materials. Since replacing the tape, I have not had a single flat in 1,500 miles of riding, so it works very well!

It's way better than that black rubber tape that the stores use. Real bycycle shops use this tape. That how I found out about it. Works better and lasts longer.

Thick tape that adheres well to the rim. I used a disinfectant wipe (plenty at hand...) to remove debris and grease from the rim prior to attaching, which might have aided the adhesion. The tape was a bit wider than the deepest "valley" of my rim (which was ~10 mm), but I could easily apply it anyways, bending it and covering parts of the slope on both sides. While flexible, it is thick and looks very sturdy, so I have no doubts it will protect the tube well. Not noted in the description is that the valve cutouts in the tape of this french product are sized for french Presto valves, not for the larger Schrader valves (which my tube has). I began placing the tape just beyond the valve cutout on my rim, satisfied that the tape cutout did not coincide with a spoke nut location. The tape was about 1 in (2.5 cm) longer than what was needed for my 700x25 tire size, so one could shorten it at the beginning by a bit to aid in placing the cutout away from spoke nuts as needed.

I've used Velox a couple times now. I agree that the adhesive isn't super strong, but if you clean your rims before you apply the tape, and mount your tubes/tires right away, this tape works well. It clearly offers more protection for you tubes than some thinner tapes. Is it worth it? I don't now, but I'll keep using it.

The original and best. Thick, durable, easy to use and adheres nicely. Cotton rim tape is not in vouge any more for a variety of reasons, but if you have a set of particularly troublesome wheels this tape might be just what the Dr. ordered.

best rim strip tape you can buy. I would not use anything else for traditional tubed wheels.

Easy to install. Fully protects tube from wheel burrs and spoke heads. The glue holds perfectly.

Die Artikelbeschreibung ist klar und deutlich:: "Boite de 10", d.h. eine Packung mit 10 Rollen. Leider wurde mir nur eine Rolle geliefert, deswegen nur 2 Sterne. Ich habe das Plastikfelgenband von 16mm Breite in meiner 622x14mm Felge durch dieses Band ersetzt, da ich öfters einen Platten bekam, welcher meiner Meinung nach durch das zu schmale Plastikfelgenband zustand kam. Deshalb habe ich das Plastikband durch dieses breiter Stoffband ersetzt. Die Länge der Rolle hat gut gereicht für eine 622 Rennrad-Felge. Loch für Ventil ist schon vorhanden. Das Band ist selbstklebend und leicht zu verlegen. Ich habe das 19mm Band für eine 14mm Felge benutzt.

Meiner Ansicht nach das beste Felgenband.

Appropriate size, good quality as described. Used to replace current rim tape. Holding up really well, no rim-induced punctures so far. Happy overall.

Really good, solid tape. Self adhesive so it doesn't move and quite pliable for such thick canvas, so t pushes down deep inside the rim. This is much better than the PVC Schwalbe tape that came fitted to my wheels and I will be purchasing this again for any new wheels I happen to get in the future.
