Enjoyable story and characters
This book is the start of a five part series. It is an interesting story of new beginnings for a young woman in a small town. There is a love interest but mostly it’s about friends and sisters. It rolls along, day by day with some good things and some discouraging things but it is believable which I think kept my interest growing. My only negative was the editing was horrible! There were grammatical and spelling mistakes on almost every page. They were things even Microsoft word would have corrected. But I just finished the third book and it was much better.

This is the end ???
I liked the book until the end. There was no end. I was sorely disappointed with this supposed ending. Sorry I ordered the next one

good story line
I liked the characters and the story was not bad. I was disappointed that there were numerous typos and errors and felt that the writing was sort of choppy. Am hoping the writing will improve as the writer gets more experience.

Good story
Good story for some one starting a new business . Holds your interest thru the whole story. Love the picture it paints of the yellow house.

Typos
Intrigued by the story, but so distracted. I know others mentioned the typos: it's not just 1-2...dozens! Punctuation, spacing between words (or lack of) and just plain misspelling (i.e."they were all i tears and each gove me a hug") frustrated me to where I had to stop reading. I'm hoping that the next books are in better shape, or I'll be requesting a refund. I think my 3rd grade students would have been able to fix many of the errors themselves!

Disappointing
I am a quilter and up for anything with quilts in. I'm sorry to say I found this book schmaltzy and lacking any depth; there was no character development and no plot; and, given the ending, it seemed to be written entirely to get you to buy the next one in the series. I won't be doing this. I'm really sorry but I found it poorly written and the text needed a good edit too, I was looking forward to getting into a large opus of mysteries centring around quilts but I'll have to look elsewhere.
