Beware!!
Drive failed a few weeks after arrival. Faults that windows couldn't fix and useless fortunately I'd got it backed up. The support contact details are for a different type of Toshiba product! I cannot find anywhere in Toshiba to get support from. Interestingly Amazon contacted me to see if everything was ok and if I'd had trouble getting support for this product. I said it had failed and no support but no response from Amazon. Sounds like this is a common problem with these Toshiba drives....beware!!?

What turned up was a bucket wrapped drive from 2018 so forget any sort of warranty other than that amazon might offer. This listing looks new but I for a 6 year old drive. It's a bit noisy but so far does work. Of your selling an old drive or model SAY SO. Feel ripped off. Update: yup it failed in less than a month drive test showed page on page of errors.. it's junk. Do not biy
