Platinum, Fountain Pen Preppy - Red [M]

This is an exceptional beginner fountain pen. It writes almost as smooth as my Lamy Safari. I've tried the Jinhao at about this same price range but like this one better.

This is my second preppy, the first one was a 0.3 and I still use it. Just that the cap lock has become loose. Writes smooth! Flow is great on a 100gsm paper.

Ink flow is cheap just like its price.Waste of money.

I ordered the Medium nib which writes like a 0.7 mm nib.Well grinded smooth nib and the bubblegum colored ink is very vibrant and has good flow.Overall 5/5

It looks like a cheap pen but is light weight, made of good quality plastic and the nib is perfect. Converter isn't included so you'll have to refill the included cartridge but this is probably the smoothest nib you can have in this price range.

Nice pen, the nib is not great, skips sometimes.

Great price, works well, converts easily to eyedropper filling. Made in Japan.
