Works perfectly.
Very happy with this. Seems to last longer than the generic filters.

Better than others
Good quality humidifier filters. I've tried some off brand filters in the past and came back to these due to their quality level. They seem to last longer and are more resistant to mold.

Works Great - purchased many times
I have had my Honeywell humidifier for 7 years. I buy 3 of these filters every year. They work great as long as you follow the directions. You do have to flip it over each time you fill the canisters or else it gets dried out like a cracker and won't work anymore (speaking from experience). I will continue to buy them as long as I have the humidifier.

Last longer than other brands
These genuine Honeywell filters are well built and last longer than other cheaper ones so I believe these end up being more cost effective in the long run. We use our well water in our humidifiers, which goes through a salt-based conditioning system to reduce its hardness, iron, and sulfur content before coming out of the faucet. We have found that salt crystals form on other filters and eventually clog them up so they don't absorb water for the humidifier to release. I've tried rinsing them under running water or with vinegar to prolong their life but this just causes the filter to start to fall apart and they last about a month. The Honeywell filters take much longer for any salt crystals to start forming and when they do, I just flip the filter over inside the humidifier and they dissolve on their own and the filter keeps working for about 3 months. We're in upstate NY and we use 2 filters per season (Nov. to April) with the humidifier running 24 hours a day on low, which keeps the humidity level mostly at 40%. The only thing I don't like about these filters is that the outer blue layer, which they've added in recent years, can get covered with dust, hair, and other tiny particles - which is actually both a positive and a negative. It's good that it filters out these things and doesn't just redistribute them back into the humidified air, and it's bad because it's another maintenance that I have to do by wiping them off to keep the filter working at its maximum output. However, I only have to do this about 2 times in a 3-month period, so I believe the filtering benefit of the blue layer outweighs the minor additional maintenance. We've had our Honeywell humidifier (Model HEV685) for about 3 years now, so I've had enough time to check out different filters and I think these Honeywell ones work the best and cost the least in the long run, especially if you buy them in the 3-pack on Amazon. The only time I've found them for less is during Black Friday 2 years ago on the Honeywell website and not again since then.

Best filters out there!
I have tried numerous types and brands of filters. These are by far the best ones I’ve found. Typically lasting more than 3 months with decent care. My tap water is not what I would consider to be "Hard" water but it does build up calcium deposits on the faucets and shower heads. One thing that I do to prolong the life of the filter is to flip the filter over every time I add water, along with drizzling water across the top of the entire edge of the filter after flipping it, to wet it down. Keeping the filter from getting dried out, which kills them so much sooner. I have even removed and thoroughly but gently rinsed these filters with cold soapy water in my sink. Rinsing all the soap out and reinstalling. These filters have lasted for up to six months with no issues. With really good care, I think they could last longer.?

You have to turn filter
After years of purchasing these filter I finally figured out how to make them last much longer, everyday flip the filter that way it will never get dried out or crusty on the top of filter, I have no problem doing this small thing, I also once a week clean out the entire humidifier I poor vinegar in the bottom and let sit a couple hours and I also put about a 1/2 of vinegar in each container and fill to the top with water and let them sit along with the bottom, I also very carefully run water through the filter on top edge and sometimes I’ll add a very tiny amount of deluded dish detergent and squeeze that through and rinse, do not wring the filter out just press up and down when laying flat, you have to be extremely careful or it will stretch out or fall apart, do this once a week the filter will last 3 months, use a bacteria water preventative also. If your filter is already crusting on top throw that one out and put in a new one once it’s crusty you can’t start the process I’ve told you about, I if you flip a crusted filter it will just turn the water yellow and put it into the air which you never want to do.

Genuine
I bought these this year and last year. they are the genuine filters from Honeywell. I flip the filter every time I fill the tanks. in dry winter time, the humidifier runs for very long hours everyday. There are days when i fill both tanks twice in 24 hours. it is set to about 42% humidity. The filters perform well. I change the filter once it starts to hardens between flips. this is about a month. I figure it is worth the money to keep the house at a good level of humidity. good for us and the wood furniture etc. it is too bad that that my unit is no longer available. This is lower price than Honeywell site. strongly recommended.
