Q: How nany cards does it hold?

There are 110 cards in Monopoly Deal and it holds them with ease.

Q: Does this actually hold monopoly deal? I purchased another one that claimed it held it but it was too small.

Yes it does and it's a bit bigger than the cards themselves; this picture of the case is actually true to scale. Now, if you are trying to put the FULL Monopoly Deal deck on one side of the case, then no, it won't fit, as it's too big of a deck and too tight under the elastic strap of one side. We have both the old version and the new updated look version of the cards and either deck fits into a case (we have 2 cases- 1 for each deck). In the end, I wish there was a case that was a more perfect sized fit, but this one seems a more universal size to fit multiple different types of card games, which I can say it would. I hope that helps!
