girls High-neck Tank Leotard

Really nice quality, as expected from Capezio. We ordered the 8 to 10 for my tall nine-year-old and had to return as the torso was a bit too short. So sizing up is recommended.

Pros: Durable and well made. Comfortable fit for easy movement. Affordable price for the quality. Comfortable straps and back design. Cons: Sizing tends to run small. Potential for stretching over time (happened after many washes).

I bought this for my four year old boy to use for his ballet class. I had a really hard time finding a leotard for his age group that wasn't too girly. This one worked perfectly. If fits as I expected, but I almost wish I would have bought one size larger so he won't grow out of it quickly, it literally fits him like a glove so he will need a new one as soon as he grows again! Lol. The material was a nice quality and it was lined in the front which I appreciated. I was afraid it would shrink in the wash but it didn't really. It looks like a black tank top on him which is what I was going for, most of the other leotards were too low cut either in the neckline or back and it just looked bizarre on him. He wore this leotard with some black spandex tights over it (I purchased them at a local sporting goods store, I think the tights were actually for running or something, the material was thick stretchy and opaque, but tight enough for his teacher to see his body lines clearly. That combined with black Capezio ballet shoes completed his ensemble. He loved his "dancing clothes", Dad liked it because he was terrified he would look too girly in ballet clothes, and his teacher said it was perfect.

It seems durable and well made. The fabric is thick. Given that my 6 year old is 98th percentile for height I bought the size 8-10. It almost doesn't fit. It fits around, this is not a girth issue, but she had to squeeze in for her first class and when she was done there were red marks on top of her shoulders from the straps digging in. I wish there was a little more give vertically. She is about four feel and with a normally proportioned torso to leg length though I have never measured her torso length. I can't return it because she had to make it work for one class, so I dont know how they are with returns. I have ordered the next size up as I would rather the width be a little loose than have it dig into her vertically. So i guess my six year old will get to wear a size 10-12. She is actually going to love that.

This is a great leotard for gymnastics for my 5 year old daughter. She is thin and tall, and it just fits right. I am not sure if she will get a lot of time out of it, but she really likes it and it is comfortable for her. I like it because her underwear does not peak out as it covers her butt, she does not get a wedgy, it is not too big or too small, and it is not too short in the body, causing the neckline to be too low. The material is not thin but quite substantial and still looks great after several washings. This was one of those products that went beyond my expectations and was a great price.

This leotard runs small. The sizing says 2-4 but I would say it is closer to a 2T, definitely smaller than a 3T. As other reviewers have mentioned, the leg holes are also pretty snug, but that worked out well for us because my daughter is on the thin side. My daughter wears a 3T in shirts (which are big on her) and a 2T in most pants (which fit in the waist but will soon be too short) and this leotard fits her perfectly. I still gave this product five stars because I love this leotard! Very high quality. Lined in the front. It works well for both gymnastics class and dance class. We bought the black with the matchin boy shorts and I plan on buying more colors. I actually found a leotard that fits our little peanut. Hooray!

Bought the 2-4t for my average-sized child who is 3 and wears 3t in most clothing. The leotard is thick with stretch and the length is great. The overall fit is nearly perfect with no loose areas, sagging or bunching; however, the leg opening is very tight which makes it hard to wear for my child.
