An odd solution to an odd problem. I’ll explain...Problem: So we have a cat who loves to play with/eat bottle nipples during the night. I think the soft rubber texture makes the cat think she’s playing with a little animal. She steals bottle nipples from the bottle drying rack every night. Literally every night. Replacing $10/3 pack of nipples became expensive when this was a weekly occurrence. Remembering to hide the nipples worked; however, if we forgot to do this the cat would take and destroy all of the bottle nipples! Super annoying. Plus, the cat would vomit the rubber up the next day. I’m pretty sure there could be an expensive vet bill down the road if she were to ever swallow too big of a piece.Solution: This product works as a “cage” for bottle nipples. We put the rubber parts of the bottle inside this and let the parts air dry. I especially love how it fits nice and snug on the top of out vertical bottle drying rack. So it doesn’t look stupid and oddly placed. The cat can’t get the bottle nipples anymore! And my husband and I don’t forget to hide the bottle nipples from the cat because it is right on the drying rack.I have not yet used this product in the dishwasher as it is designed for, but if it can survive my cat it can survive a dishwasher.

I bought this mostly because I am a big tea drinker and I was tired of having to hand-wash my tea infusers. They’re all stainless steel and dishwasher safe, but there was no way to get them to stay put in the dishwasher. This basket doesn’t fit perfectly in my dishwasher, but it stays put. It’s very sturdy and the latching mechanism does not seem likely to ever open when the dishwasher is running. Besides my tea infusers, I also put things like small Tupperware lids and jar lids in it. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and have had no issues yet!

I bought two of these because I have a lot of baby Dr Brown bottles and pacifiers. Lots of stuff to wash and sanitize. I'm able to fit quite a bit in each and dishwash them safely and securely. Beats having to microwave some at a time with the sanitize bags, or have a bulky sanitize machine on my counter that only fits a few bottles at a time. Work smarter, not harder!

Requires fiddling and manipulation to keep it aligned, but works great for little things (like, oh say medicine cups for when everyone in the house is sick and wants liquid versions of medications) and for occasional use.Check the price and see if it's the value you are looking for...it's not incredibly sturdy feeling, but unless you are doing a daily use of it that may not be an issue. The price-du-jour for me was low (and free shipping) so it's well worth it. If I had to use it every day I'd look for something better quality.Plus, I like the bright color, it's easy to spot at the back of the 'seldom used item' cabinet.Recommended!

Ha -- lots bigger than I expected! I got this to wash the few tiny items that I sometimes stick in my dishwasher, either in the utensil caddy or on the top shelf, like lids and small measuring spoons. These often end up in the bottom of the dishwasher since they are so light. This basket certainly works to contain and control them, but something smaller would be better. However, my mistake. I still will use it as long as I can find room in my already-full washer. It is very sturdy and well-made.

We love this dishwasher basket. It fits so much! This design allowed for more items than other dishwasher baskets. I had originally registered for the Munchkin dishwasher basket but it did not fit a lot. I did not know about this basket until I visited a baby speciality store in Richmond, VA. We used it and loved how much stuff it held! We loved it so much, I ordered a second basket from Amazon. We have been using this basket for almost a year.I read other reviews about this basket. We never had any problems with it coming apart during the wash.I love the design and would definitely recommend this product.We use Tommee Tippee and Playtex Nurser bottles. It fit bottle nipples, bottle rings, caps, and pacifiers, among other small items.

I've had a few of these types of baskets since my kids were born... and this one is weird. It doesn't fit in the rack well at all, and since it's pill shaped, it takes up a LOT more room than it looks like it should. And the inside is oddly shaped for anything BUT nipples, making its actual useable volume VERY small for the amount of dishwasher space you use.Just get one of the little baskets.

It's very reasonably priced and works perfectly. I love the curved edges over a square one, personally for our use but it makes it easier to maneuver around the other dishes, with a square one you're kinda limited. The holes are really great for small pieces and cleaning them. I have yet to find something from this company that I don't like, this is no exception! I haven't owned any other kind of dishwasher basket but I have used them of various friends and was never a fan of them. I finally settled on this one because it doesn't have a lid, it's round and it has the holes to snugly hold in nipples and sippy cup lids.
