It is truly a do it yourself job.
Exactly what I needed--it was simple to remove old beat up pads, cleaned off the residue, applied the new pads & I'm delighted with the results--"it's not brain surgery"--so glad the replacement job went so well.

Great Protection for Wood Floors and Ease of Movement
These felt pads are highly adhesive and the thickness is perfect. I have oak floors and put these on all of the chairs. Will buy again if needed for furniture, etc.

They work well.
We use them on our chair feet. Makes the chair easier to motivate. They last a couple of months but we really need them. They come in all different sizes. Felt on one side and a real sticky substance on the other. Useful.

1 1/2 inch diameter felt pads
Received these 24, 1 1/2 inch felt pads yesterday 2/22/23, installed them on 4 iron chair bottoms today. So far, so good. Don’t know how long they will last but look like they’re well made felt pads that stick well. They’re thinner than what I expected but so far working well…

Definitely does the job to protect hardwood floors. Just have to keep in mind of how much weight is used at the end of legs or footing of furniture.

Do they stick well? Yes, superior to others. Are they dense enough and thick enough? Yes
- Do they stick well? Yes, superior to others. I've had issues with other brands working their way off the feet of chairs. The glue on these is different. It's more fused into the felt instead of a thin film laying on top. You will want to guide them carefully down where you want them because once they hit, you won't be able to move them without totally breaking the bond and wrecking them.- Are they dense enough? Yes, they are very dense to not fray around edges from use and not wear through.- Are they thick enough? Yes, they are 3/16"/4mm thick, perfect. If they are too thin, they cause localized areas of high pressure that will wear through at that point. If they are too thick, either the felt will separate or work the glue loose. Their height in combination with their density are the perfect combination.I cleaned off the surfaces of any residue and wax with sandpaper. I learned they will bond to uneven surfaces if you hold them down firmly for 30 seconds. My oak kitchen chairs are like that.
