Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS, 40MM) - Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band (Renewed)

I wanted to love this item as I’m restarting nursing school and having an Apple Watch is really handy especially during times when I can’t be on my phone but need to be in contact with my mom as she’s disabled. Sadly, first of all the battery life maximum capacity is only 70%. I knew when purchasing a refurbished watch that it wouldn’t be perfect but at least more than that with battery life considering it’s supposed to be “excellent”. Also there are deep scratches all around the edges which again I knew the item wouldn’t be perfect but considering it said excellent condition I was hoping for better. The functionality overall is great at least so I won’t be requesting a replacement but I will probably replace the battery at an Apple Store once I have the money. I bought this trying to be cost efficient.

This Apple Watch Series 5 has been great. It still performs really well and handles all the everyday features I use — tracking activity, workouts, notifications, and heart rate — without any issues. The screen is clear and responsive, and the size is perfect for daily wear. Battery life has been reliable, lasting through the day with normal use. It pairs easily with my iPhone and has been very convenient for staying connected without constantly checking my phone. If you’re looking for a dependable Apple Watch that gets the job done without needing the newest model, this is a great option. I’ve been very happy with it and would recommend it!

On 5/1 I received the watch. The box was busted up and the screen was smudged and dirty, but I wasn’t too bothered about that as long as the watch worked. While there were some hiccups in trying to get it to sync with my phone and I had to find some alternative workarounds, and the battery life wouldn’t last longer than a day, it overall seemed to suit my needs well enough, so for the price I was pretty pleased. I’ve used it pretty much every day since then, and even on low battery it seemed to be able to crawl on through my longest work days until I was back home and ready to charge it. Lately, however, I’ve noticed that it isn’t really charging properly anymore. Within the past few days it goes on the charger on low battery, around 10-20% and emerges with either the exact same charge or, if I’m lucky, something slightly higher I can try to work with, like 41, though still not ideal. I realize my battery life is impacted due to buying a refurbished product. I expected poor battery performance and that I would need to charge the device fully at least one a day, maybe twice. But what I did not expect was leaving the device on the included charger overnight (8+ hours)- displaying the correct icon and acting like it’s charging- only to return and see that it barely, if at all, ticked up an extra 5% or so. Gonna try some more trouble shooting with restarts and ensuring all updates installed correctly, but I’ll be really disappointed if spent $100 on a pretty brick that won’t charge. Will update if I learn any new relevant info. Works fairly well otherwise, which is why I get it more than a zero- but if I can’t get it to charge consistently, then I won’t be able to use it either.

Came to me in brand new condition, i was unsure when ordering. I have been using it everyday and could not be happier with my purchase. Ordered a second one for my spouse. No scratches, no dings, looks great and unbelievable for the price. A great way to determine if you really want an Apple Watch.

I ordered this last fall and have constantly had issues with the battery not charging past 80-90% ! It would take the entire night 9pm-7am just to charge up. I just Dealt with it because I knew it was refurbished and as a disabled person, I just needed the accommodation of the watch. 2 weeks ago it stopped turning on completely! It won’t even charge. I took it into an Apple Store and they told me that it should have never had any of these issues, despite being refurbished and I should have contacted the seller once I noticed issues (oops) because it seems like I got a dud. Last month it stopped charging completely and won’t even turn on. I’ve tried multiple official Apple chargers… nothing. I’ve tried 2-3 different online tech tutorials to try to figure it out, nothing. Just be aware it may not hold charge and it may just die randomly. I have reached out to the seller and am just waiting for a reply and hoping they can remedy the situation!

Syncing took some time as a first-timer to smart watches, but now this one is being used and loved daily. It's not the most feature-rich, but good and capable for the price. Fit is good and compatibility worked after a while (possible user error).
