The Classics All-Metal Call Bell, Chrome Finish, No-Slip Base (TPG-343)

I bought this and it works. Have had it many years now, it still works. Used it to train my cats to ring a bell. They ring when they want food, so definitely need to keep this away from them now.

Have bought several of these (for our family & as a gift for friends with dogs). I use them as a device to effectively communicate with our dog, having trained him (starting at 9 weeks of age) to 'Ring The Bell' to let us know when he wants to go out of the house (or come in). If he feels it is Dinner Time (he starts ringing the bell at about 4:30 pm each late afternoon) or to get our attention because he wants us to play (guessing game; he rings and we 'question' until we get to the right 'need'). These bells save our doors from being scratched (in & out request), gets our full attention for other 'issues' and is very 'portable' (we take it on trips to use in hotels or at the home of those we are visiting).

I purchased this item to use in playing family games. It is used in place of a buzzer like on the game show Family Ties. It does work but would be better if it was more sturdy and not as light weight. But really, for no more than it cost I couldn't expect a better quality. It was usable for what I wanted but if I ever find a more sturdy one I will buy it and set this one aside or put it in a garage sale.

I bought this Bell to settle an argument at work. I work in a factory and we have customers who come in throughout the day to pick up their orders. Two of my employees were arguing over who’s job it is to help those customers (spoiler: it’s both of their jobs to do it) because one person found themselves having to do it more often than the other.They came to me saying “you have to do something about this,” which was pretty dramatic honestly. I told them I wasn’t micromanaging the door. So I bought a bell, the customers now ring it when they need a hand and someone on my team is responsible for answering when they hear it on a rotating basis.Problem solved.Thanks, Bell!

The only reason why I purchased this was because I have a coworker that has the bad habits of ignoring the drivers. I literally help everyone. She'll get up and walks away, pretends to make a call or goes to "make copies or scan documents ". I've complained and they let her get away with it. I purchased this bell with my own money. She absolutely can't ignore the loud DING! She thinks the boss got the bell. They giggle anytime someone hits the bell but I feel like she should've gotten fired a LOOOONG time ago. Best $6 I've ever spent.

It's the cheapest single bell on Amazon as far as I can tell, and it seems sturdy enough, but I give it a 3 for overall and value because it's not described properly. The base is just metal, like any other bell, there isn't a "no slip" feature like a rubber liner or anything. It slips around on our hardwood floors, and would slip on shallow carpet too. We bought it for our dog, to help with potty training, so I'm giving it a 5 there because it was cheap and it is a bell after all. If it had been this price AND no slip, I would have given it 5 stars all around. The cheapest no slip one that I looked for after realizing this one isn't no slip is $7.99 and features a rubber ring shown in the photos, but there's a two pack of questionable slipperiness for the same price... so I just kept this bell and I'll make my own no-slip base with stuff I have around the house. I contacted Amazon to have them change the description, but we'll see if and when that happens... that's what I get for trusting a listing with only one picture...

This is the one thing that completed my life. I may now die happy knowing I own this bell. I was in a very sad place when I ordered it. When I received the package, I know my life would never be the same. The amount of joy it brings into my life is unimaginable. I don't know how I survived 39 years of my life without this bell. Thank you to the creators, suppliers, and shippers that have allowed my life to continue with a new purpose. This bell is absolutely amazing!

This sounds funny, but my son loves wwe and does matches with his figures. He specifically asked for a bell like this to start his matches 😂. But they one said that it doesn’t scratch the surface it is set on which I liked so that it didn’t scratch the table or the hardwood if he is playing on the floor.
