We originally bought this 1080p webcam for our oldest for homeschool and after using it we really liked the quality. It was easy to set up the picture looked clear and it just worked the way we needed it to so we ended up getting the same one for our daughter as well. The video is clear and the wide view helps a lot during calls so they don’t have to sit perfectly centered. It also has a built-in privacy cover which is a nice feature when the camera isn’t in use. We’ve been using them since around last year and they’ve held up well with regular use. It works great with their HP school laptop and our desktop setup without any issues. The black color blends in nicely and looks simple and discreet on top of the monitor. Overall it’s been reliable for homeschool, video calls, and even gaming. 😊

You probably know there are a million and one cameras out there. I happened across this one and took a shot. I am primarily using it for Discord and it fit the bill nicely. Install was seamless on my laptop and the tripod and privacy cover are nice features. The autofocus does not work great at close up but for general use it is very clear. Microphone clarity is also good according to the other party. Overall a nice camera at a great price.

I had previously purchased another webcam on Amazon for about the same price as this one that was total trash - it kept flickering my video during Zoom meetings and I did everything to try to fix it, even downloaded a special software that to change certain camera settings (which is what the company said to do). None of that worked and I was super frustrated. One day I was on a Zoom call with a co-worker of mine and he mentioned that he had bought this camera so I asked him to send me the link and purchased it right away. This camera is truly plug and play. As soon as I got it, I plugged it in and haven't had to do anything else to have it work properly. Now my coworkers can see me on the Zoom calls instead of a flickering screen. I also love the built in mic and privacy cover features. Overall this is a really inexpensive, but solid camera that's good for casual video calls or work meetings.

This camera is great....for about the first month you have and then it seems just decide to stop working. The quality is clear, the picture is great, and while the mic is a bit strange, I have an external so it never bothered me. Then this started to happen. The above picture is the standard of what I have to deal with every time I want to record something with my camera. It might work for about 3 or 4 minutes without issue, then starts to flicker slightly, before promptly freaking out so badly that it black screens my computer for a couple seconds until I shut off the camera. Sometimes, it gets to the point where my computer won't even recognize it as a webcam and refuses to switch it to over my built-in webcam. I approached this problem from every angle I can think of. No damages to the Camera that I can find, physically (nor do I remember doing anything that would cause such damage as the camera, when not in use, is promptly packed back up for it's safety). Spent hours approaching it from a software angle, anywhere from seeing if maybe stuff on my computer needed to update and that was causing conflict with my camera, to literally uninstalling and reinstalling the camera's drivers in an attempt to get it to work. Sometimes, restarting the computer got it to work for brief periods, but today was the final straw, as despite several resets and hours worth of troubleshooting, I can't even get the camera to work for longer than a couple seconds before it freaks out. Once I checked out the low ranked reviews on this product and discovered this is not a unique problem I've having, I was forced to conclude the camera itself is just garbage and am forced to go back to my previous, which while lower quality, at least worked without issue. So, if you want my recommendation, unless there is a solution to this problem I've managed to overlook, I'm forced to conclude the camera is at fault and do not recommend the purchase of this camera.

When the camera worked, it worked well with a clear picture and was plug & play. Two downsides that I took a star off each for: The wide angle lens was obnoxiously wide and no way to adjust. The second is it quit working after only two years. Maybe that's all they last? But it sat on my monitor with no wear/tear so I expected it to last longer.
