Well, one Youtube tutorial and pet grooming kit later, he looked great! These scissors were sharp and precise with an easy grip. The thinning scissors were perfect for an inexperienced person to layer up men's hair so it doesn't look block-y. They are a little heavy, but still easy to use, I probably just wouldn't give them to my grandma to use with her weak wrists. If I had a long haired pet I feel pretty confident that I could give them a trim using this kit, however both my dogs are short-haired.
