Monk is NOT sugar, by the way….
I was reading some of the reviews and found that several people gave bad ratings based on sweetness. Monk Fruit isn’t sugar. If you have a sugar attachment, you’ll be disappointed.I don’t have a dysfunctional relationship with sugar as I don’t consume it anywhere in my diet and am NOT insulin resistant.I find this product sweet and very affordable. I use it in my Flaxseed bread and coconut flour pancakes. A little goes a long way!!!

Taste way better than the other brands.
There is no chemical taste and the color looks as though it should. This tastes really good. This the third batch I’ve purchased. It doesn’t seem to be extracted with any odd chemical.I’ve had others where you only need a pinch and it’s extremely sweet, but you can taste whatever chemical that is used to extract it.It drives me crazy to see the comments about how you need a larger scoop than others. That's because it is not extracted with a gross chemical.

Not Concentrated Like Typical Monk Fruit-Disgusting-Grainy
I have been using monk fruit for years. It is usually a very fine powder, and 1/32 of a teaspoon should be the equivalent of 1t of regular sugar. THIS monk fruit is NOT concentrated like anything I have used before. It comes with a huge scoop (the larger spoon in the pictures), and the product is very grainy. I only use two scoops of the tiny scoop for my tea (with other products), but this product required three of the LARGE scoops to achieve the equivalent sweetness. By the time you use that much, the burnt, rich taste of the monk fruit completely overpowers whatever you put it in, ruining the flavor. It also leaves a disgusting aftertaste in your mouth. Ironically, I bought this product because you get four times the quantity for the same price as other brands. BUT you also have to use more than four times the quantity of the product to get the sweetness you want. I carefully checked the ingredients, and it says it is only "monk fruit extract", so I can only deduce that there are different concentrations of the extract, and this one is not as concentrated as most. I highly recommend the "It's Just Monkfruit" brand; I will never buy this brand again, and I do not recommend you waste your money on it. It is a poor value for your money.

No Quality Control!
I was buying this brand for awhile with no complaints. It was exactly as I expected, sweet with very little needed to achieve the level of sweetness I needed. The color was typical for thi product no matter the source; a beige to tan color. That product deserved 5 stars. But that changed and the change was quite obvious to the naked eye. I started to receive packets with brown product inside. The sweetness level went wayyyyy down and I needed to use LOTS more product. I'd guesstimate at least 10 times more and it still wasn't as sweet as the 2 level scoops (a tiny scoop at that!) that I'd been using. I figured "OK so I got a bad batch. Just use it up and move on.". But I had 2 more packets on the shelf and each one was brown and not very sweet. They'd been shipping that garbage for some time. That product deserves no stars but that's not possible. I used up all those packets and simply changed brands. The new brand is the Monk fruit sweetener I expect. The change in product of this brand was very noticeable yet they never caught it and instead shipped it out. Hey folks, you're selling items that gets ingested... Wake up! It could just as easily have poisoned people. I think what happened was the dryer got set to a temperature that was too high for some reason and it degraded or burned the product. But still, minor? NO! It's food, wake up!Would I buy this brand again? No way! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the 5 stars it went from to the zero stars I couldn't give it. It's an average.

No Sugar Dr.'s Orders
So I was advised by my Dr. to cut out wheat (all forms) rice, soy, pasta, glutten, potatos, sugar, cerals or any artificials sweetners. The only thing I could use to seeten something was Monk Fruit Extract. The product is very sweet, brown in color, and comes in air tight bag. It also has a small scoop for measuring. My measurements for using this in tea, coffe ect. is one scoop = 1 sweet in low packet (I was using before) I am pleased with the taste and adjusted to it right away. This diet change is to determine food allergies that could possibly be causing skin rashes.

Very weak sweetener compared to other monk fruit extract
A while ago I decided that monk fruit powder was my sweetener of choice, for beverages and general sprinkling. It is said to be about 200 times sweeter than cane sugar. My first bag of "pure" monk fruit extract purchased elsewhere was 2 oz and it lasted several months. It needed to be cut by about 10:1 with another sweetener in order to be measured consistently using common kitchen spoons. I cut some with Allulose that way and about 1/4 teaspoon of the blend was equivalent to two teaspoons of cane sugar. The combo sweetens well and tastes very good. But the 2 oz cost over $20. I looked for some less expensive, and this Microingredients brand of "monk fruit extract" is 4 oz for about the same price. Cut the same way this powder is a very weak sweetener. I should have guessed when the bag says a serving size is 1 gram, about the size of the scoop included. Bottom line, this monk fruit powder is only about 10x as sweet as cane sugar, where others on the market are more like 50-200 times as sweet as sugar. You can probably find a monk fruit blend that is as good as this for a lot less money.

Would Buy The Product Again. Organic Certified. Satisfied
It is less sweeter than a previous brand I used to purchase. Reassuring to have an organic product and it is comforting to have a zero calorie sweetener. I like the no fuss packing and it reseals very well.
