This is a great looking watch and functions very well. Exceeded my expectations. The band is comfy on my wrist and the green is more noticeable than some reviews would give it credit for. Beautiful timepiece to add to the collection.

Sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel with recessed lume pip, NICE rubber strap, beautiful waffle dial, Seiko's famous lume for days on dial and hands, perfect alignment on chapter ring and dial, perfect cyclops alignment, what's not to love? Out of the box and straight on to the time grapher after a good wind indicates zero beat error and +3 seconds per day. FINALLY a watch I don't have to modify or tweak as soon as I get it! She's as perfect as can be! Seiko really hit this one out of the park!

This is a beautiful watch, perfect for divers or anyone who appreciates a rugged, reliable timepiece. At first, I thought it would be larger based on the pictures, but once I had it in hand, the size felt just right—comfortably balanced depending on your wrist. The accuracy has been impressive. I’ve had it in a winder box for a week now, and it’s kept perfect time. As expected from Seiko, this watch exemplifies quality. It’s one of the few brands that manufactures everything in-house, which speaks volumes about its reliability and craftsmanship—especially at this price point. The watch feels solid and well-built, and the rubber strap is both comfortable and durable. The green dial adds a distinctive touch that really sets it apart. Overall, an excellent value for a timepiece that delivers both style and performance.

My beautiful wife was kind enough to purchase this as a gift and I am super thankful. This watch is amazing, the dial has an awesome blue texture with very subtle images of manta rays on the lower portion of the face. The face is clear and crisp and the day/date window is an added bonus. The watch hands and indices are bright and nicely polished with a very bright lume. Additionally, the watch bezel feels tight and stays where it has been rotated. The band is a nice blue silicone and feels great on the wrist, it was not stiff out of the box like some rubber/silicone bands can be. Although the watch is a bit on the heavy side, this is something I prefer. The automatic movement seems to last about a day and half when not being worn, but is easy enough to rewind with the screw down crown. Overall I am thrilled with this watch. Would I recommend this watch and buy again? Yes.

The king turtle is comfy to wear, although I replaced the standard green strap as I found it too bulky and floppy. I replaced it with a Miltat jubilee style bracelet which looks good but loses some of the green effect and looks a bit too business-like now. The watch is pretty accurate, a few seconds per day, and I like the day/date feature and the magnifier. I also like the upgrade to a ceramic bezel and a sapphire crystal. And as usual with Seikos, it has great lume that lasts all night. And the position of the hour hand is easier to read than that on the Samurai, which is too short to guess where it's pointing at night when you have only the lume to guide you. The bezel is nice and grippy thru 360 degrees, and yet doesnt catch on things - in this respect I like it more than both the Samurai bezel, which is too shallow to grip easily, and the Sumo bezel, which is an eyesore where it stands proud of the case at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions, as it looks like a flan tin. All in all I find the Seiko King Turtle has everything I need and nothing that annoys me, and when I do wear it I keep it on my wrist for many more days than I initially intended to.

Legit time peice. I was in the market for my first automatic everyday watch. After doing some digging I settled on this one. I know hit and miss QC of Seiko is a thing but the one I have is pretty flawless. No dust under the sapphire, face is clean, hands are sharp and defined well, and the lume is perfect. I wear this watch almost daily. I like the candy bar cyclops. It's centered well and magnifies to my liking. The stock silicone strap is very nice and comfortable. Brought this watch out during summer camping, swimming, even kayaking and to hung in there and impressed me tons over my orient Kamasu. The day and date on my Kamasu was not maintaining accuracy. I could not get the day and date to sync at all so I sold it and got this peice instead and its keeping better date and time. Everything is synced up and accurate. Mine is running about +2 sec a day and that's perfectly fine with me. Watch is continuing to look great and rugged. Looking at more Prospex models and explore more Seiko options.

It's a beautiful watch. You always get your money's worth with a Seiko. The biggest surprise was the band; for a rubber watch band, it's almost astonishingly good looking, perfectly color matched to the bezel. It's also quite comfortable, similar to an Apple Watch. As others have noted, the bezel doesn't quite perfectly align (between the zero marker and 12 on the face.) The ratcheting stops it just barely before dead center or just barely after. I would think Seiko could get this figured out, but you really have to be looking for it to notice it.

Always wanted a Turtle and this was the one. Looks better in person then any photo. Very accurate and the most comfortable on the wrist of all the watches I own….and I own a few. LOL.
