A solid one piece hammer, but magnet only good for long nails over 1.5 inch
The magnetic function was the feature bought for; but the length of the nails need be much more than the 1.5 inch slot in the hammer. It's a one solid piece of hammer appears well made. Need to hold it not near the end of the handle so that it does not weight heavy on the wrist. Not as balanced, not as comfortable compared to a Dew*lt hammer of the same type and weight. But around 10 bucks, I would not be complaining about it. Good for occasional use that should not come apart.
