Lightweight. Sturdy. Cool. Easy to set up. Big enough for 2 upright chairs. Great value!
We've owned this for a week and taken it out to the beach every day, and I'm ready to declare this a great, recommended purchase. POSITIVES: 1) It's really lightweight. My wife wanted to carry this and let me carry the chairs! 2) It's very easy to set up and break down. One person can set it up easily in a couple of minutes. 3) This XL size is quite big. It easily accommodates not just 2 adult beach chairs, but 2 fully upright folding chairs, plus probably a small child or two. You could stretch out and take a nap in it if you like (see photos). 4) It's shockingly stable and sturdy. We didn't have horrible winds this week (just 10-20mph max), but we never even felt the need to fill the sand pockets. The 6 basic stakes in the sand provided plenty of stability. In higher winds you can of course fill the 3 built in pockets with sand, and use the additional stakes and guy-lines to secure it, but I was pleasantly surprised that we didn't feel a need for either. 5) This design gives you a tucked-away "cabana"-like feel, like you're viewing the ocean but shielded fromthe throngs of crowds to your left and right. 6) Many nice design touches including 5 handy storage pockets, a hook for hanging things, easy-to-use roll-up screens, and the big "apron" that you can also zip up for total privacy. 7) Light, reflective colors and lots of ventilation means this isn't as hot as the other big brand. 8) It's a great value. In 2024, you can often find it in the $60-70 range. NEGATIVES: 1) Stuffing it back into it's carry sack is a two person operation. If the sack had a wider opening, it would be much easier. 2) Despite being lightweight it remains fairly big when folded down in it's carry sack -- bigger than the types of tents where you pull the support poles completely apart. 3) I don't see how you can ever fold this thing up without trapping at least a little sand. BOTTOM LINE: This isn't going to provide as much shade coverage as one of the big 10-plus foot beach canopies. If you spend a lot of time at the beach, or have a big family, then spending a couple hundred bucks on one of those might better suit your needs. But if your crowd is small, and you want something much less expensive and easier to carry and set up, and you like the idea of a little privacy along with your shade, then this pop-up design won't disappoint, and this is the brand to get.

Fantastic Beach Tent/Great Customer Service
I purchased an earlier, smaller version of this tent a few years ago. While I've been very happy with the overall features of that tent - the zip-up porch, the well-designed sand flaps on the sides and back, the ease of set up with the ingenious pop-up mechanism, and the overall quality and durability of the product, the sun protection was the one ding I would give it. I discovered that Easthills created a newer model of pretty much the same tent, but bigger - which would be perfect for my growing family. I also noticed that the newer model had clearly upgraded sun protection, so I decided to try it out. Am I happy I did! The upgrades to the tent were apparent right away - and really distinguish this tent from any other beach tent out there. The sun protection is amazing, even on the sunniest of beach days. This tent has better ventilation on all sides and a cleverly placed toggle system that provides any level of privacy or wind protection you need - including full privacy - all controlled from the inside of the tent. There is now a hook hanging at the center of the tent, good for hanging a light or whatever else you may want to hang there. The inside mesh storage pockets are large and plentiful. One of my very favorite features of the tent is the zippered front porch. Not only can it extend out from the tent for sand coverage, it also completely zips up, providing full privacy for changing out of wet swim and surf gear. The sand pockets are usually the only weighted wind protection I need on windy days. I think I have had to set up the strings maybe one time and it was fairly easy. The company also upgraded the little strap you wrap around the tent before storing in the bag. It used to be kind of a flimsy piece of cloth that I'm shocked I never lost over time. They upgraded it to a sturdy, thick strap with an adjustable locking clasp. It was a tiny thing, but I noticed. I have had many folks approach me on the beach wanting to know where I got the tent and to look at the features. People are mostly amazed by the ease of set up, how roomy it is and of course the porch. I had a little blip with the product and contacted the company. They bent over backwards to make things right and I am so appreciative of that. Great beach tent - I highly recommend!

Really useful thing
This tent is perfect for the beach, park, or backyard. Setup is super quick and easy — it practically pops open on its own and folds back down into the carry bag without hassle. The material feels durable, provides excellent shade, and the ventilation windows make it comfortable even on hot days. It’s lightweight, portable, and comes with stakes to keep it stable in the wind. The spacious interior easily fits a couple of adults or a small family with kids Overall, it’s a convenient, sturdy, and reliable tent for anyone who loves outdoor time

Big size, high quality, easy use

Good size and quality, setup is not that easy but probably ok once you get used to it. Packing it up at the sandy beach is a struggle but that probably goes for all tents.

A great sunshade for a day out by the beach or other outdoor locales. Quick and easy set up by one person. When positioned with the sun at the back of the shelter, it provides ample shade. the floor is made of tougher material which should stand up to loads of use, including the placing of camp chairs, etc. The portion of the floor that extends past the shelter can also be zipped up to provide privacy when changing. The only drawback is that the window shades are on the inside of the mesh, which means that rain will seep through and drip into the tent even with the shades down.
