A lot of silicone tools are cheap & dipped in silicone, leaving a thin layer. These are solid, sturdy metal bases with silicone heads. The silicone unit a tip either, they will not slip off or get gunk lodged inside.They're good useful sizes.I use the medium size tongs pretty much every time I cook -- moving/turning food stove top or in oven. When I'm not using tongs, usually use the spatula to stir a pot or toss food in a pan. Also great for most baking stirring & scraping chores, other than the biggest bowls or heavier doughs.Locking mechanism on tongs is easy & reliable.All have gone through the dishwasher with no problems.Excellent price point for this set.Maybe this doesn't matter to anyone else, but the color is cheerful & works well with other colors.Completely satisfied.

Keep these with so.e other utensils on an attractive pitcher on the counter. Use all three sizes very frequently. Clean up easily and well. How did I run my busy kitchen without these 3? They were a very good purchase for me and probably will be for you- they're versatile and easy.

Solid product, not a cheap imitation

The only flaw with this set was the smallest tongs broke and wouldn't tay stay closed. I ended up throwing it away. The other tongs are working very well.

These tongs are a great addition to our kitchen. I like the three different sizes and how they all lock, making it easy to store them. They seem to hold up well, even after repeated washes in the dishwasher.

So far I have used them with hot cooking and cold salads, so far great. Couldn't beat the price when they were on sale. Hopefully they'll last a long time.

I needed a large set of tongs. and saw these and decided to buy them. All the sizes will come in handy when I have my family over which is often. They are a nice quality stainless steel. The best feature on these TONGS is the little locking mechanism on the bottom of the tong. it is a little round hole you pull and it locks the TONG into place closed. I love this feature because I put these in a smaller drawer so they are not open and getting stuck in the drawer when I open it. I put them in the dishwasher with no problem. The spatula was also an added feature. Beautiful set for an amazing price.
