3M Scotch 928 ATG Tape (Repositionable): 1/2 in. x 36 yds. (White)

The tape seems to work okay, but you really need the tape gun to strip the backing off. When applied by hand, the "tissue"-ness of the tape can be difficult to work with. Would recommend for projects that have open working spaces and contact areas large enough to use the tape-gun. For small, custom projects, you might find some better solutions.

I've tested several double-sided removable tapes, and while this one wasn't my favorite, it was still very good. So no real complaints!

VERY temporary. I had high hopes for this product. I used large amounts to mount 17x22 inch Epson paper to smooth paper stock. After less than 36 hours prints were falling to the floor. Board was new, free of dust or dirt in short I don't know why this material faired so poorly. I had to resort to a more permanent double sided tape or unknown origin but it did work.

I purchased the 3M Scotch 928 ATG tape from Tico Group. I have found 3M products to be top quality so I believe this is a seller issue.I used this tape in a Scotch ATG 700 Adhesive Applicator. I found the the tape would not release from the backing the same way I have trouble removeing the backing from an old adhesive product I find lying around in a drawer. This would cause the mat board surface to tear and be drawn into the rewind hub leaving no tape on the mat board.I found Tico customer service to be very difficult.
