Worked like a charm. My old valve handle had broken off and I used the guts in the new one to fix it. Worked perfect.

I have not put water through it because the season is over and pool is closed for the winter. Time will tell if I have no leaks in the product or not. My last one was a pin hole leak that just started the past season, might have been a fine crack it was hard to tell but that was disappointing.

Extremely dissatisfied. Bought this product thinking it would be a nice and easy upgrade for my pool. Installing it was simple but when I went to turn on the pool pump, it turns out hayward decided to switch everything around so in reality where it says filter it was acutally backwash. I have a valve on my backwash so nothing crawls in because it goes through our ground and out to our lawn and it was closed and when I put the hayward valve on filter(actually backwash) it blew up my pipes and now my hayward valve is leaking. Trying to contact warranty, no one is answering.

I replaced my old one with this item 4 years ago and realized I had not left a review. It works perfectly. Fit was exactly as the original and after four years, it’s still working perfectly, I have had no problems whatsoever..

I installed this Hayward valve to my Hayward sand filter but, couldn't stop the top connection from leaking. I ended up sending the valve back to the seller, through Amazon's return service, and was refunded my money back. Sincerely, Roland R. Albert
