## Description

From the manufacturer Why We Love the Wonderball Fun Playhouse Open Concept Design The open design of this playhouse allows multiple kids to play together, as well as full visibility while they play! Fun Flipper Station Challenge aim and coordination with the included flipper! Flip the play balls into the playhouse or onto the roof for exciting cause and effect play. Built-In Storage When playtime fun is done, keep the play balls ready for next time by placing them in the bottom basin. Accessories Included Start the ball play! 20 play balls and 2 pitchers are included with the playhouse for even more fun. Why Should Your Child Play with Ball Toys? Physical + Motor Skills Gripping the spherical ball shape requires balance to grip and hold, a lesson for your child in physical control and muscle memory. The physical control of rolling, throwing or transferring a ball from one hand to the other is repeated frequently throughout playtime with ball toys as well. STEM Learning The physics concepts of movement, force, gravity, and cause and effect are present in ball play toys. Through repetition and observation, kids will start to learn which movements make the ball roll, bounce, or fly through the air and land – and which movements make the ball stop altogether. Visual Skills + Memory Visual-spatial skills are heavily involved with ball play. If your child rolls the ball too hard, it may hit something or fall off of a table. If the ball is thrown too softly, it will fall short of the intended basket. They’ll learn how to contain the ball within their play space through trial and error, improved hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity. Language + Social Skills Passing a ball (whether by handling, rolling or throwing) teaches cooperation. This type of play teaches kids how to take their turn and rely on the other person to keep the game going, and sometimes to communicate and ask for the ball back. Play Together! Color Coordination: Work together with your child to send the balls plinking down the indoor maze or rooftop tubes. Help each other try to get as many of one color down the maze or tube as possible! Who can catapult a play ball higher? Take turns using the side flipper to shoot play balls into the air! Ball play is a great way to work on eye contact. Have your child pass the ball to you, then wait for them to make eye contact with you before passing it back.

Review: Good product - Good product and excellent support from the seller for a prompt delivery
Review: Colorful Fun - A child can play with the balls or just enjoy being inside the playhouse. There are plenty of ways to play from tossing balls on the roof, rolling them on shelves, putting them in a mailbox, or even through a ball-sized hole in the door. I appreciated that the door has a large enough gap when closed that it doesn't pinch little fingers, because slamming that door repeatedly is our little one's favorite thing to do. Update: We've had the ball house for over a year now, and I'm pleased how the play value has continued. When Baby Girl was younger, she'd crawl about and pull herself up to cruise the inside. She enjoyed playing with the balls and loved when the adults threw them into the tubes. As a toddler, she can throw the balls onto the top of the house herself, but her favorite game is to stand at the counter and pretend she has a restaurant serving bubble tea. Now that we've had the ball house for some time, I can point out the features that don't work or need improvement, but they are minimal and don't impact the enjoyment negatively. 1. The ball launcher is a bust. A small child can't flip it hard enough to get the ball on top of the house; an adult can do it, but the ball launcher will pop off with that much force. We've given up on it, and Baby Girl uses it as a spoon to scoop up her balls in prep for her bubble tea. We've all been force-fed with that spoon, so thanks Step2 for making the edges smooth (you will eat it, and you will like it). 2. The pitcher and pot that came with the ball house are puzzling. The wide one doesn't fit flat on any surface Baby Girl wants to use to "cook." The skinny one is too small, and the balls get stuck in it. We keep a plastic fork on hand to help scoop them out, but that's frustrating for Baby Girl when they get stuck and she can't remove them herself. 3. The unit has holes to push balls through and a mailbox Baby Girl adores. If there was a flat surface to "cook" on, it would add to the play value immensely. I like the unit is light enough that we can pull it around when we want to relocate it (or vacuum under it). I like that it's big enough for Baby Girl to grow into several more years, yet small enough it doesn't take up much room (it's really not large enough for adults to enter, but we try because Baby Girl insists on customers). I've read several reviews complaining about the balls being lightweight and thin. I consider this a plus, as we've all been beaned by Baby Girl's errant ball tosses--she has a surprising violent throw--and none of us have been damaged; neither has the wall or furniture. We haven't had any balls collapse, which is surprising as Baby Girl walks on them. We did buy another batch of balls that work with the ball house just because we like plenty when we get crazy throwing them on top. There are few toys that have kept Baby Girl's interest as much as her ball house over the past year.
