When I Feel Worried (The Way I Feel Books)

Good books.

i must say that the series was a great idea. but i am quite worried and disappointed of the content. kids are more or less being told to do other things to change how they feel. i believe the focus should have been on the importance of talking to someone, expressing their emotions rather looking for distractions. I mean, it does say on a page that a kid can talk to someone and someone will listen...but then 6 other pages say how they can do other things to get rid of the feeling. It is definitely NOT one of the healthiest approaches. I would advise a re-make, using the knowledge of these last years - regarding to proper education about feelings and not teaching kids to run away from them.

Helped my son who had anxiety after being bullied in Kindergarten while we reside overseas, he's homes chooled now and much happier for it.

I am raising my 4 year old granddaughter while my son is a long haul truck driver and her mother is incarcerated. I realized a lot by her reactions to these books. It help me know how to help her and what issues were on her mind without asking. Very impressed with how well they are written....simple and insightful. The animal character is perfect too. I would recommend these to read to any child, but a child who has experienced any kind of trauma would especially benefit.

Beautifully scripted .. Not only in kiddie ways does it explain what the emotion feels like but what one can do to overcome it.. A good start for emotional regulation lessons for a preschooler .. Am going to buy all the books!

Great series which helps to define those big scary emotions with very accurate physical descriptions and reassure kids that everyone feels these sometimes. My kids five and under have requested them to be read many times.

I liked this book very much. My son is very interested in reading this book. He is very quiet boy and hardly share this feeling . But after reading this book he spoke bout how worried he felt for his pending homework. This book really works and has helped me to make understand my son well about this feeling.
