LCM Home Fashions Micromink/Sherpa Throw, Sage, 50-Inch by 60-Inch

I found this on discount on Black Friday and thought I would give it a try. It looked thinner in the picture than other sherpa throws I had seen. When I opened up the package, I knew right away why it sold normally at $40. This is pure luxury. It actually is thicker but not cumbersome. The color was beautiful. The micromink is unbelievably soft. The sherpa is soft as well but its best characteristic is when you drape the sherpa side around you, it heats up immediately. This is the coziest and most luxurious blanket I have ever had. I stored it away in my hope chest for when I get married in a couple of months because it is too good for me to use until I have a special occasion to pull it out for and share it with someone else. I can't wait for next winter!

Full discloure: i bought this thinking it was a heated throw. I just wasn't paying attention. So when it arrived and wasn't heated I was bummed. I planned to send it back. But it was so soft....so I tried it (put it as first blanket under a down blanket on a very very cold night) and it's a keeper. Soft and magically warm. I have not yet washed it but after I do I will update this review - I hope it is as wonderful after being laundered!UPDATE: yup, it launders well and is just as soft and nice. I put it away for the spring/summer but I forgot to update this review before now. I really love this blanket.

Blanket is really warm and cozy, a bit short for me, but I knew that when I ordered it.It came quickly, sooner than I have expected.Pro's1. Warm2. Cozy3. GentleCons1. Short.If you are 190+ cm high, this can come handy in covering legs and belly, which is how I am using it.

This blanket is like a little piece of heaven. It is soft and velvety on one side and then the "sherpa" soft fabric on the other side. Perfect blanket for the couch in the tv room or a cozy chair to sit and read. I seriously would like to have one in every room of my house. These blankets seem to be very trendy right now and everywhere I go I see them. HOWEVER, not all of the blankets are of the same high quality as this blanket. It is thick, a great weight (not thin but not super heavy) and gorgeous. I got one for my mom for Christmas and she loves it. As soon as she opened it, my 2 year old daughter grabbed it and ran off with it. Then that afternoon I took a nap using it. You can't go wrong with this blanket.

I ordered these due to the high rate and recommendation that most people posted on Amazon. However I am truly disappointed in the quality. I expected it to be a little heavier and thicker than what I received. They are soft, but they are thin, and I really assumed the size would be big enough for my little children, but they are not. It is more for a couch not something to use on a bed, unless you have toddlers, this would fit them, but anyone over 12 would feel it is too short. The quality is the most disappointing thing for me, particularly the price that is required to purchase. To get same quality, of thin and soft throw, then just purchase from the local "W" store and it's much cheaper, for sale right now for $12.99 regular price is 14.99. To pay the price that this company is asking for I expect better quality. Sorry I will be returning these.

Not bad for the price but not up to the Life Comfort Sherpa throw. It's not quite as warm and I would've done better to find a 60 x 70 sized blanket instead. Nonetheless, it does get used and is fairly warm and comfortable

I purchased this throw to use at the foot of my bed to accompany a quilt made in off-white and green. It arrived quickly and when I opened it and ran my hand over it I just wanted to wrap myself in it because it is so soft and plush! The throw is reversable, soft green on one side and off-white on the other; both sides are just as soft so you can use whatever side fits your color scheme and still know you will be wrapped in warmth and softness. The colors are true to the pictures shown and the size is good for use as a throw or extra layer on a bed.

Very Light Weight. This is a very light weight throw. I read reviews that said medium, but it is even printed on the outside of the plastic, light throw. This is so thin, almost like a heavy sheet. I need to go to the store and actually feel these items. I will not order anything like this over the internet again. This is not at all what I expected or wanted. The fleece is misleading too, because it is so thin. I wouldn't even call it fleece, almost faux fleece. So disappointed in this throw. And on top of everything, it has a funny oily smell.
