Food Huggers Butter Hugger - Patented Butter Cover - Keeps your butter snugly sealed and fresh

Honestly, this concept is so simple, yet so smart. It solves an age-old problem in the kitchen. Butter sticks are wrapped in paper handily marked with measurements for cooking/baking. Some cooks cut the stick on the measuring mark, paper and all. The problem is that now you have butter exposed on one end of the stick. How do you keep it fresh? You've got to put it in a ziploc bag or other container, or wrap it in plastic wrap or foil. To avoid this issue, some cooks open the wrapper and cut the butter without cutting through the paper - leaving it to re-wrap the remainder of the stick. But it's not easy ensuring you're cutting in the right spot when the measuring marks are on the other side of the wrapper. This handy little gadget solves that issue! Now I can cut on the measuring marks - through both butter and wrapper - and still keep my butter fresh by capping the cut end with this little guy. It's a perfect fit and stays put, even if the stick of butter gets tossed around a bit in our fridge.

I absolutely LOVE my butter hugger!!! Of all the gifts i got at Christmas, this little do-dad was my fave! This cheap amazing little silicone square brings me so much joy!! Every single person should have one of these! Its great and keeps my butter fresh and my fridge clean! Plus i cant stand up my butter in the fridge to save space. I love it so much i had to pay it forward so I bought my mom one too.

This is perfect when you want to cover the end of your stick of butter. Great tight seal, seem like it will hold up nicely and easy to clean. Loved that it’s yellow like the butter.

Apparently, there is East Coast, butter, and West Coast, butter, and the sticks are different shapes. I live on the West Coast, and this does not fit my butter. My roommate tells me it’s made for East Coast butter sticks, which are more narrow and longer.

This Food Huggers butter cover is a great invention. It works very well and fits the end of the butter stick perfectly. It is very convenient, much better than using a piece of plastic wrap or a bag. It is both sturdy and flexible so I think it will last a long time.

Good idea and good quality but made for the tiny butter sticks. Not what I needed.

It is far to small to be used.
