The Dorman 599-260 is remanufactured. Either will work. *by R***L on May 26, 2020* Had a dead panel on my 2000 Tahoe. No heat or A/C, or even indicator lights on the panel. Fuses, HVAC controller, blower motor and actuators checked out OK, so this was the only option left. Literally a 5 minute job to replace it, using no tools. Pop off the dash bezel, push the tabs on the panel, and pull to get to the connector. Squeeze, pull, off. Plug the connector into the new module, push back until it clicks, replace dash bezel. Done.
