Koblenz Carpet Shampooer and Floor Polisher, 12" Carpet Cleaner with Scrubbing Brushes and Polishing Pads, 144 Ounce Tank, White/Black (P 2600A)

After reading many of the reviews paying close attention to 1and 2 star, decided to give it a try. My hardwood floors have taken a beating over the years but nothing compared to the last 5 weeks with two grown dogs that love to play ruff and tumble constantly. Before I get into the buffer operation I must emphasize that the overall condition of the finish on the hardwood, as well as what the original finish material was is going to determine the final outcome, also how much time and effort you want to put into it - the floors came out amazing. The buffer was packaged in a sturdy box and all parts were included. The water tank did not leak which I was very happy about, some reviews complained about that. Some reviews complained that it wasn’t heavy enough which is a valid point, but if it were it would be easy to overload the motor possibly damaging it. You just have to go slow and give it time to do the job. The process I used was simple and time consuming but well worth it, in detail this is how I did it. Using water in the tank and the hard floor brushes with the green pads I did a section of the floor keeping the floor wet so the pads didn’t bog down after which was mopped up before drying. Once the entire floor was finished I went to the orange pads and buffed the floor (dry) until I reached the shine I was wanting - that’s it. Only the deep scratches didn’t come out which I didn’t expect would in the first place, but the overall finish was beyond my expectations. I have already ordered replacement pads so that I have an extra set on hand for the next time.

This thing is absolute poor design garbage!! I cleaned the floor in the first room, no problem. Then it all went downhill fast! This thing won’t stand up by itself so you have to prop it against a wall or something. When you do this it disconnects the water bottle then when you go to use it then the water bottle falls off. I have a huge bruise on the top of my foot from this falling out when it was full of liquid. There’s also the issue where it stops spraying all together. I even took everything apart and cleaned it, it wasn’t clogged. It was so frustrating to have to disconnect and reconnect the water bottle. I finally just stopped using it because it was such a pain! I still have half the project left to do!

I love this scrubbing devil. We moved into our house in December, and I have not been pleased with the look of the carpets or the ceramic tile. I bought this originally for the carpet; I use to always have my carpets dual processed whenever I had them cleaned, no one does that anymore, I did have a "professional" clean my carpets, what a joke. I used an extra strength solution and scrubbed the heck out of the living room carpet, I was going to use a shop vac that I had bought to extract the dirty solution unfortunately that didn't work out so well. I bought a Hoover carpet cleaner, by the time that got here the carpet was dry, I filled the hoover with just water and rinsed it very well and extracted all that nastiness. I then filled the tank again and I actually added a small amount of bleach, (our carpet if very light, I also figured if I ruined it, it was already ruined). I ran over it very slowly, got quite a bit of the bleach solution on the carpet and extracted it, it was still disgusting. There was no odor what so ever when I was done or why the carpet was drying. After such great results I started eyeing my tile, which is textured, so I was thinking "is that just the design or is that imbedded dirt? I used the hard/tile floor brushes and used my favorite solution of Hot Water, White Vinegar and a Tablespoon of Dawn. Fortunately it was not imbedded dirt, but the tiles are much lighter, and the grout is nice and clean too. I would buy this again and have already recommended it to several of my friends.

I’ve used these for years in my commercial cleaning business. With that said, I really have put them to the test and typically get 5+ years out of them. Eventually they just get worn out bearings, motors etc. the older ones used to kind of “lock” in place when upright. This new version does not. Tanks were always problematic. Leaking, not dispensing etc. I learned to live with it because it is a handy, powerful little scrubbing machine. But this new one, the pin that locks into the fork that is attached to the dispensary lever was a mile off! There’s no way that it would activate the rod inside of the resivior to work. I’m handy, so I heated up the solder and it dropped into place (1/4”) . Obviously, I shouldn’t have to do this. Works fine now…. QC needs to pay better attention. Guess I see how long this one lasts. Not excited about the handle not locking upright anymore, but it still beats spending $$$ on a real commercial machine.

I have loved this machine from when I bought my first one over 15 years ago. I had to replace it and opted to repurchase the same brand because it worked so well for me in my janitorial and commercial cleaning business. It's just the right size for construction trailers to keep their bathroom and kitchen floors sparkling after striping and buffing them. I recently used this on the stairs at a fire station we were cleaning and it was impressive. Love that it's not too heavy to carry up the stairs as the elevator was not operating.

We have very light tile with medium grout and had some hazing since the original install 5 years ago. We had almost given up when we decided to try this scrubber. The result has been amazing! And the unit is very easy to use. The only issue is that the tank seems to have a slow leak but as I'm busy spreading water and cleaner around anyway, it is fine. Would absolutely buy this again. BTW, the other accessories look like they would do a great job with wood floors, but we are all tile here as it is a vacation home at the beach.

A) it's bulky. B) it doesn't actually scrub off s5ubborn dirt on the marble. Easier with a drill with appropriate head. C) VERY noisy D) liquid container doesn't sit well and drips. E) outlet for the liquid is sooooo small the liquid doesn't go through. Better to just unplug it from the base and let it drip out. F) the scrubbing heads don't fit well and touches the sides (rubs and melts the plastic lining) I used this for 1hour giving it the benefit of the doubt but I don't see how it's better then simpler measures with all the additional work around I had to do to get it to just Polish our marble floors. Better to not spend the money on this and higher a professional company to polish your marble flooring at a quarter the cost. And no back or headache (or ear ache)

I have 18" Centaur swing polishers and sometimes they are a bit big for the situation, so I use this. It works very well for edging and small areas like closets or bathrooms, but the swing polishers will clean this things clock out in the open.

I have had two Koblenz shampooers before and loved them. I have not yet tried this new one one with shampoo but looking forward to using it O la you corrected the mistake of sending me the incorrect shampooer but you have charged me twice. When will I get my refund?
