Install the printer app on your computer and go into it's settings. **Q: Do they work on HP Pro 8610?** A: Yes,they are completely compatible with my HP Officejet Pro 8610. **Q: Do I remove the clear plastic tab over the hole?** A: You pull off the tab marked "pull", and leave ON the clear plastic tab over the ink hole. My HP did say this is a non-HP Inc. but it was more like a warning. It’s still worked after I clicked OK - happy with this ink and saved a ton of $$$ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works Perfectly *by S***S on September 21, 2023* I was really worried about installing a non-OEM product in my HP 8610. However, I was very happy with this product.I purchased the 950/951 XL cartridges. The were packaged with all cartridges individually wrapped in an air tight thick plastic wrap. I pulled out the cyan one and followed the instructions on my HP screen. I opened the door, pulled out the one that needed replacement, took the tab off the new one that covered the area the ink comes out and pushed it in. I did get a message on the screen saying that HP could not guarantee the quality of print with a non-OEM product. I clicked OK and my printer made a few heavy grinding noises and went to a normal screen. Tried printing and it worked perfectly!! If I would have purchased all 5 cartridges from other stores that carried HP branded cartridges, I would probably be spending well over $150. Generic at this low price (under $21) is worth it. It was very easy to install. I will certainly be purchasing again from this seller. ### ⭐ May not work and did not work for me *by J***Y on June 4, 2025* My HP Officejet printer would not accept the ink cartridges.
