Product is week made materials were better than expected the fit is very good and so far have had no signs of wear the hook and loop holds very well and the extra battery storage works great or you can add weights whichever you choose the weight of the produce has no effect on the helmet or any neck fatigue very comfortable weight did like it will enough to buy a second one would recommend as a well built product and very functional

Could not see spending $90.00 on a mohawk from TNVC. This counterweight pouch holds an aviation style battery holder with 4 AA's and 4 CR123's in the integrated elastic bands. Beware it does not come with a placard care with elastic bands as in the pictures. The elastic is sewn inside the pass through tunnel. The elastic is in two rows and holds a CR123 well. I believe it would hold a total of 6 of them if you wanted but I just carry 4. The elastic has the batteries mounted horizontally and you can push from one side out the other. The velcro is quality and the stitching seems squared away. The fabric seems as if it will hold up well. I am interested to see how it looks under night vision. Holds everything I need and looks good. Great price. There is elastic loops on the top side of the counterweight pouch for a chem light and velcro loops on the bottom to hold your radio cables when not in use. Nice design. I do wish it had the removable placard with elastic loops as in the pictures. It helps to add to my 50 shades of green helmet setup.

After looking at a number of different Mfg's I went with the KRYDEX pouch. Ease of installation, fit, durability, quality Mfg, and that it blended right in with helmet cover. Velcro attachments very strong , and the extra loops inside and out are nice if you want to add various little things. Only downside is that if you are running a helmet cover that doesn't have a full strip of Velcro on the back, like mine, you will have to find a way to keep it from flopping around with the weights or NODS battery pack in it. The pouch has a loop on both sides for an attachment, but did not come with any way to attach it to the helmet. I made my own (yellow & red arrow). I would still recommend this as it a solid choice for a counterbalance pouch.

This is my first purchase of a Krydex product and a counterweight system for helmets. I am aware of a few other "Gucci" brands on the market and they are pricey. This fits perfectly along the horizontal velcro nape and vertical velcro as well. This allows the pouch to remain secure and not fall off. Please watch my video for a quick personal review of the prcomes. PROS: 1. Overall build is incredible, simple and clean. Webbing retainers very stretchy to secure a large load. 2. Velcro is strong and not some bootleg product, secures onto the helmet velcro very well. 3. A removable battery retaining system is genius, this allows the user to access the battery system with ease and adjust weights quick and fast. CONS: 1. The webbing retainers are not tight enough to secure AA Batteries without them falling out with a quick shake. 2. The Bungee string that runs along the vertical velcro could be a higher grade product but can easily be replaced with another type of your choice. 3. Adding two extra cable retainers to the sides of the vertical velcro panel will allow the user to retain and manage their cables for NVG battery packs or comms.

Love this! Holds all my counter weights in the back perfect. And helps wrap up my comms chord!

I will start off by saying that this DOES NOT come with weights. With that being said, having previously owned a TNVC Mohawk, this is a great alternative of you're not wanting to drop $100 for the legitimate one. Multicam pattern is nice and doesn't look off like other cheap knockofs often do. Hook and loop sticks well. I do not know how it looks under IR, I assume it'll glow seeing as how it's cheap chineseium. Best bang for your buck you're going to get. Would definitely recommend

This pouch mounts firmly to the back of a helmet and provides organized storage for spare batteries or counterweight material. The stitching feels solid, and the Velcro holds tight even during movement. It’s a simple addition that helps balance front-mounted gear.

Excellent purchase for my Wendy helmet. I was able to store extra batteries to act as the counter weight. Good fit and great color.
