I highly recommend this book for anyone struggling with the relationships they experienced as a child. It is thorough yet concise and has been very insightful.

I like this book. I'm about halfway through it and it is very thorough, but helpful. I'm recognizing harmful patterns in my family and I don't want to repeat them with my children or continue living the cycle as we have been.

While this might be a good teachers guide I thought I was buying the workbook with the teachers guide, but it is only teachers guide therefore I returned with no problems as I needed the workbook and did not really need the guide part

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and used this workbook for my clients from Dysfunctional families. All of my clients stopped reading the workbook within 2-3 chapters saying that it was too Christian for them and that they didn't like the fact that the book blamed the parents. Also stating that the workbook was simplistic and really didn't touch on deeper subjects that they needed to process. I have stopped using the workbook to address past Dysfunctional family problems in clients.
