Avashine Wax Strips for Arms, Legs, Underarm Hair, Eyebrow, Bikini, and Brazilian Hair Removal Contains 32 Strips

After months of lockdown I decided it was time to try some home hair removal. Having sensitive skin and allergic to fragrance I was reluctant to purchase home wax strips but I was pleasantly surprised by this brand. These are great and so easy to use. There is no fragrance and the wax is a great consistency, you can cut them to size. I started with my legs, then under arms and even my upper lip after I was confident with using them on my body. It is safe to say these are great for body and face. I have quite thick hairs and it removes very well, it is tricky with under arms as there are several directions of hair growth so you may need to tweeze the last few. Overall very satisfied and will purchase again.

I have not used strip wax for some time (and hadn't really liked using it in the past) so paid a little bit more to get a product which had good reviews as my lower legs, following lockdown, needed clearing asap and I didn't fancy the laborious task of using an epilator again. I was pleasantly surprised. Easy to use, good and fast results and left my legs feeling soft and smooth with no irritation in the days afterwards. You also get a good supply of large strips in the pack and I still have half a pack left so although slightly more expensive than other brands, you use less as they really work and are good quality. Very impressed and will buy again in the future.

The product came very promptly through the post. I have not used it before and usually go to a salon for leg waxing, but during pandemic thought this would be a useful alternative. The strips were easy to apply and really did a good job. Only reason I have deducted a star is because when you leave one strip to one side while using the first one, it is difficult to find a spot to leave it, without it becoming stuck to everything! Maybe have each strip separate rather than sticky side to sticky side.

I was relatively new to waxing when I purchased these so I was being cautious that my technique was probably not going to be perfect. I later bought a second box to make sure I was being fair on the product and my review. Overall I felt it was a lot of money to spend whilst not being able to remove significantly much hair. I found heating them by hand was tedious and difficult to do. I did marvel over being able to achieve a hairless shin on one leg, but I found myself having to do a lot of overlapping and multiple passes and that the wax didn't really cover that much surface area. I don't think the wax glue is strong enough or really up to this task. The first time I had long hairs and the second time I had lighter regrowth and the results were similar both times, in my opinion, they are not good enough for me to consider purchasing anymore. They're a lot easier and less messy than sugar wax and hard wax but I did not think the result was value for money and did not feel there were really enough strips. This thin wax strip did produce a bit of burning and irritation to my skin on parts of my arms that took a while to heal.

I’ve never waxed my own legs before. These have been sitting in my room for couple of weeks ready for me to pluck up the courage to use them. Finally did the yesterday and I’m so happy with results. So easy to use. I read one user recommended using a hairdryer to warm the strip which I did do. Seemed less painful than when I go to salon and was a lot easier and painless than I expected. So glad I made this purchase. The positive reviews were the reason I made my purchase so only right I leave comments about my positive experience. Great product and highly recommend. The wax removing wipes were handy too.

I wouldn’t recommend these. I’m an avid bikini line waxer and normally visit a salon, however with lockdown I decided to give it a go myself. To be fair to the product this may well have been user error but this was my experience... I did it after a shower so was clean and dry, but did not have the pre wax solution. I followed the instructions on the box (rub strip in my hands to warm, pull apart and place on skin rubbing down in direction of hair growth, pull up in direction opposite hair growth fast) when I pulled off first strip (I’d stuck one each side as didn’t want the other strip to cool down after I’d warmed wax) it was really sticky like glue so was difficult to pull off, hardly any hair came up with it but quite a bit of wax left on my skin. I stuck it back down to try again, a few more hairs came up. Same experience the other side. I kept going (hurt like hell!) and used about 8 or 10 strips in the end (much more than I thought I’d need). By the time I’d got to a point that I couldn’t do it anymore I ended up having to use tweezers to get the (a lot not 3 or 4 like normal) remaining hairs out. I had really sticky wax all over my hands and bikini area. I rubbed some body oil into my skin, reshowered and scrubbed at wax with a flannel and body wash and then used body oil after again to soothe the skin which worked as well as the aloe Vera cream. So I ended up with the result I wanted but I’m never using these strips again, I was extremely sore, it was really painful because of how many times I stuck strips to me and pulled off and made it worse because of how I had to scrub at area to get off wax after. Not for me!

I bought these as the salon where I usually go is closed due to the current situation, I have used cold wax strips in the past but they never seemed to work. I bought these after reading the reviews and am so glad I did. They were so easy to use and left my legs silky smooth with no red spots or irritation. You just rub them in your hands for a few seconds and you are ready to go. Much less pain than the salon and a really good price, have half left so can use again next time.

Not great. Not patchy per se but just less hair all over, if that makes sense. So much so that I’ve had to buy another pack (of veet wax strips this time) as there is far too much to tweezer. I’ll be sticking to the veet strips from now on (you can get x2 packs for the same amount, which will get you 40 double sides, as opposed to the 16 double sides in this pack!)
