I bought these to use with Ram Board protective floor cover. There was a branded version just for cutting that kind of cardboard (like extra thick heavy kraft paper or compressed heavy cardboard). The branded version was slightly higher in price for a single cutter-- I took a chance on these. They do the job and are easy to use. On heavy cardboard (about 2mm thick), it helps to hold the cardboard FLAT and pull the cutter SLOWLY. If you try to rush, the cardboard crumples and resists. We learned that we needed to slow down and let the blade do the work. These were super helpful, and the multipack allowed us to have one in the garage to cut large pieces from the roll, and one in the room where we were working, to cut out smaller curves to fit around doorways. The safety feature meant we were never in danger of cutting the flooring beneath, and that was a relief. We plan to use these around the house for opening boxes, opening letters, and breaking down cardboard for recycling. They're great! Don't let the cheap colorful plastic fool you-- they are actually real, decent cutters.

These box cutters are really great for opening all those packages we all get delivered. They work well and there's no chance of cutting yourself like traditional box cutters. The blade stays surprisingly sharp. Our adult kids stole a few of ours so I ordered a few sets for their Christmas stockings!

Love the colors! Definitely a safety must have. Opens boxes and more easily and safely. Safe to put in your pocket. Very durable I was given one about 9 years ago and I loved it so much I bought this pack a while back and gave them to some coworkers. I still have my original one. I like that it is plastic and you can write your name on it with a permanent marker. Because everyone wants to borrow it.

The product I order was good quality and was exactly what I was expecting except the colors. Maybe I didn't read it correctly somewhere but the colors of the tool, I assume were the colors on the picture. Other than that everything was good

Hands down, these are my favorite type of box cutters. I have tried scissors and just about every other kind of box opener there is but after I tried this, I would never ever go back to anything else. It's easy to hold and all you do is stick one of the bladed tips in that space between the box and tape and just slide it to cut the tape. You only need a space big enough for one of the pointy bladed tips to fit in. If you get the cutter off center, it's even strong enough to cut through cardboard. I love that the risk of cutting yourself is extremely low - you'd have to go out of your way to try and intentionally cut yourself - and that there's nothing to fold, nothing to put a cap back on, no batteries, no sharpening, nothing. One thing I've noticed is that as long as the cutter says Klever Kutter on them, it doesn't matter who you buy them from, they are all the same thing. Maybe they have some kind of patent on these? I don't know, I just noticed there are a lot of sellers that market these as their own but yet they all have the same Klever Kutter name on them so as long as it has the klever name on them, you're good. Also, my husband is one of those guys who thinks it's perfectly fine to open a box with a chef knife (!!!!!). I secretly think he resisted using this because he thought it was too hard to use somehow so I showed him how utterly simple it is to use and how effortlessly it cuts through tape and yay! I no longer have to watch him with a butcher knife (one small step in my husband's evolution and one less trip to the emergency room). I think my only gripe is that it's hard to find these in light pink. I bought this pack because I like the colors but I wish they made these in light pink because, well why not? In all seriousness, if you buy online, the small investment in this cutter will be time saving and well worth the price.
