I had some other reflectors but they were the circular kind that were kind of like car windshield sunshades. They wouldn't stand up on their own, and I always had to get my husband to hold them. These are perfect, because they fold, which allows them to stand on their own. I love that there's a reflective side and a black side for absorbing light. I haven't noticed any kind of weird color cast to my photos, either. For food photography, they're a good size, as long as you aren't shooting too large of a scene. I'm usually photographing a single recipe, and these work great for that purposes.

Simple, good quality, a must for product photography

Worked well to take photos of place settings / etc. Having both a black and white side made the more useful.

I was using bouncer with the collapsible reflector, Since i am a solo photographer, multiple adjustments with the flexible reflector required to change stands and angle. With Meking 3 in 1 reflector cardboard it can just stand next to the product. The photo indicates with white fills and black substract on my studio light, it works well, The black one enhanced the contrast of the detail of alice band well, I love it. For the price, it is not cheap, but this item is not just a cardboard, my first impression is sturdy, and easy of use. if you use it frequently, it will help you to make images more enjoyable. I ordered 2 one for 17x12 another for 12x8 , that will help me to use for different size of objects. We are looking for combo price for different sizes. that will be nice.

Cuando empecé en la fotografía de comida, usaba unos reflectores circulares que parecían parasoles de carro. No se sostenían y siempre terminaba pidiéndole a mi esposa que me ayudara a sujetarlos. Era frustrante. Decidí probar estos reflectores… y fue amor a primera foto. Se doblan, se quedan de pie solos y me dan la libertad de trabajar sin ayuda. Su lado reflectante ilumina perfectamente, y el lado negro me ayuda a absorber luz cuando lo necesito. Lo mejor es que no alteran los colores de mis imágenes. Ahora cada vez que fotografío una receta, sé que la luz estará exactamente como la quiero. No solo son útiles, ¡son imprescindibles!

I didn’t get much use out of this due to its small size and the reflection panels aren’t that large nor extremely reflective. This could be suited, however, for photography of really small objects with a strong enough light source that it can serve to diffuse and lightly reflect.

Perfect size and works great for taking photos.

I don't know how to use this effectively but use it as a background for recording my hands. I guess it absorbes more light than other materials.
