looking for post, to all the good customers of this product i just want to let you know how this product got started...mirrored birdfeeder

I just got this and am disappointed with the quality. I had to sand rough and splintery edges. The wood itself is not best quality. As far as the one sided mirror thing, it is actually a piece of plastic coated with something. Worst is that it has to be place in just the right place for the one sided quality to work. This fact was never mentioned in the description. And you most definitely should paint it as it is not weather proof.
