My daughter dropped her bike and broke one of her brake handles. Didn’t think I would be able to replace it but it was easy and this was a great replacement.

A great universal fit, used on a mongoose mountain bike to replace the one my 9 year old broke spinning the wheel around, sturdy and functioning as it should, easy to install. Only replaced one side and kept the other in the box just in case, not enough difference to notice from one side to the other. A good price for a part we needed.

Exact replacement for original handles

My son succeeded in breaking one of his brake handles within the first 2 weeks of getting his new 24" bike. A quick search led me to this product and ~$10 later it was on its way to me. As someone who's mechanically minded and who's never changed brake handles before, it took me about 20 minutes to replace both brake handles with the new ones. A week has now passed and they're working great! They seem durable and a little better quality than those that came with the bike. Time will tell how long they last but I'm hopeful. At the cost, I'd definitely recommend them to others looking for a basic brake handle replacement. While my son's bike was 24", I'd wager they could be used for larger bikes as well but not smaller.

As described. Simple, basic replacement for the originals. Bike fell over and the original broke off at the end. Replaced dangerous lever with sharp and rough end after the little ball at the end broke off. These fit and were an easy swap.

Fit the handle bars. Plastic clamp. Cheap. Effective though. Just like the broken clamp ones that these will replace.

The brakes arrived fast and we're shipped with excellent packing. Made of all allow, no plastic parts. Very sturdy. Good size for the hands of my 9 and 11 year olds, will be excellent for large adult hands as well. These brakes are larger than the originals for my bikes bikes, but their design ensure they fit all sizes hands. They do exactly what they are advertised to do in terms of performance. They already survived a tough fall hiking through a mountain trail and like magic you would never know. The previous plastic break didn't stand a chance with the same fall. Hard if not impossible to best this product from a price and quality perspective.

Bought these for my 8 year olds mountain bike after she had a fall and broke one of the plastic brake levers. To install, I had to remove hand grips and gear levers. Then used a flat screwdriver to gently pry new brake lever open at split to slide on over handle bar. Got them in place and tightened down and re-installed gear levers and grips. Replaced both sides to get rid of the other plastic lever. Hooked up brake cables and made proper adjustments and brakes work perfectly. The new brake levers are good quality and function for the price. Seem well built and the black finish looks nice. Happy with my purchase.

Got these to replace some long pull brakes on a band-breaking bike. Using the long pull, the bike previously slipped, and with these, the bike holds still as a rock. They look good with their striking blue appearance, and function very well. They look great, function great, and feel pretty decent.
