Arrived in fine condition, very sturdy - seems heavier than the old one. Has an “non-binding” feature on the release latch that I really haven’t had to rely on yet, but will likely come in handy. The first 800 miles have worked perfectly. Definitely recommend. I've got a Mini baseplate for a Mini Cooper s, 2008 and a Mini Countryman Coopers s 2014. **Q: Will this work on a 02 wrangler TJ?** A: I sent mine back due to the motorhome mounting requirement so i wouldn't know. I do know that those base plates tend to work for all Wranglers but do your research first. The tow bar itself is sturdy (6500 #) albeit a little on the heavy side for an older person to lift for set up or store. It sets up easy and removes even easier. The baseplates for this (standard Bumper) fit ok as instructed to install but the safety hook tabs protruded too far for my taste.
