Love it. Yes the color is not bright gold but I wasn't wanting that. Assembly was quite easy, it probably took me 30 minutes by myself. Feels sturdy and no parts were broken when it arrived in the package. I was not happy to see that it dropped $20 after I bought it though.

If you plan on filling this bookcase solely with books, I do not recommend purchasing this particular item. The legs buckled under the weight of my books.I would like to say, however, it is easy to assemble, looks great and is very reasonably priced!

I like the look of this shelf a lot. Took me about 3 hours to build alone (I did put a couple things on backwards I had to turn around). Was not complicated to build just tedious. Nothing broke on me during assembly. It seems sturdy and has been holding up all my books so far. Could have been a little cheaper but worth it.

The material the boards are made of, do not hold the screws. The screw of my top shelf does not hold the board, so the board is kind of floating there with no support. I cant use another screw because the board material is wasted in the area to be screwed. So you end up with metal sticks instead of shelves. There are similar options at similar prices that will work and look better.

We like this bookshelf but it’s not Exactly what we were expecting. Specifically, the shelves are on sided (as shown in my pics) so you end up seeing a different Color on the top shelves where the bottom is the only visible part..at least if you aren’t a giant. We ended up installing the top shelves upside down to enable consistent shelving colors. It’s also not exactly a night gold, more a dark matte goldish color.

I really wanted to like this shelf. I knew that the bottoms of the shelves would be unfinished, as I read in other reviews prior to purchasing. But that doesn’t bother me as much as some other issues.When it arrived, it was missing one of the long brackets that goes across the top. When assembled, there should be 2 brackets with left hand shelf braces and 2 with right hand shelf braces. I received 3 left and 1 right. So I have no way to secure my top shelf. Right now, the board is just resting up there, unsecured.Also, it creaks all the time. Little metallic pings, constantly throughout the day. I finally figured out why...it’s because the metal is bending. I have a few books on each shelf—nothing a bookshelf shouldn’t be able to handle—and the entire shelf has begun to warp and lean to the right. I took a look at it with a level today and some of the vertical metal pieces are bent at least 10°.I know it was cheap, so I’m not surprised. If you want to style this like the photo—with basically nothing on it—it will probably be fine. I’m debating returning this item, but not sure if it’s worth the hassle since I already threw away the shipping material.

Love it! I did flip the top plate upside down as mentioned in other reviews as I wanted to see the pretty marble! I love it as I use it for my jewelry! Soooo Cuteeee!

The media could not be loaded. it was a little pricey for this but it was actually pretty simple to assemble and the quality is really good!
